PS5: Here’s the price and release date of the Sony controller that’s accessible to everyone

Sony’s Project Leonardo, a PS5 controller designed to be accessible to everyone, now has a name: Access Controller (Or Access Controller in Molière’s language). Under this name, a controller with a completely different appearance from a “classic” PS5 controller is hidden. For the manufacturer, the goal is clear: “to provide a versatile jersey that can be customized to meet the various needs of players, […] It was designed in close collaboration with the community to help disabled users play more comfortably and for longer”. The level of customization Sony hasn’t really done halfway through. The Access Controller is nothing but a “skeleton” on which you can add the keys you want, in any order you want. circular shape, device is fully customizable. Sony’s Access Controller is fully configurable

Among the twenty or so buttons included in the kit, buttons of different sizes and textures are offered. On the same idea, the joystick is positioned around the controller where you want it to be. It is possible to place two keys on a single key (for example, pressing a button activates both the triangle and the cross) and configure up to three different profiles. Access Controller kit for PS5 will be released on December 6 for 89.99 euros. So Sony is catching up with Microsoft, which has been offering the Xbox adaptive controller since 2018.
