The PS5 continues to evolve with updates, with the latest coming out on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. It brings some nice new features, including a long-awaited one: Compatibility with 1440p displays.
Compatible with PS5, 1080p and 4K monitors and televisions. If you wanted to play on your 1440p monitor, games would automatically switch to Full HD. After installing the update, the console can now be viewed at this resolution. great news for those who use their monitor to play. Be careful though, 1440p mode does not support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). You should do without it.
PS5 brings changes to its interface
Compatibility with 1440p displays is a big deal, but that’s not the only change in this update. now possible Organize games by folders. Ideal for those who like to have everything organized in their machine.
