CD Projekt celebrates The Witcher’s 15th anniversary by announcing a remake of the first opus

If you’re a fan of video game adaptations of The Witcher and CD Projekt RED, you might know this. 1st opus celebrates its 15th anniversary on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. On this occasion, the Polish studio has great news to announce.

Indeed, the fathers of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher saga have just confirmed this.A remake of the first opus is in development! According to CD Projekt, the game is currently in the early stages of development, primarily in the hands of the Polish studio Fool’s Theory, founded by veterans of The Witcher series. CD Projekt RED says it will provide full creative oversight for the project.
