These Pokemon Go Normal Forme Deoxys Raid Counters will help you catch one of the most mysterious Pokemon in the entire series when they return to Pokemon Go Raids this week.
From Wednesday, February 16 to Saturday, February 19, Normal Forme Deoxys will appear in Raids for Pokemon Go trainers to fight and catch. Of course, Deoxys is a Pokemon that can change forms to suit her fighting style, but the first to appear is the standard form Legendary takes.
We’ll come to other forms of Deoxys in other guides, but this guide will give trainers everything they need to defeat these Deoxys, including how to use them in their best Pokemon and Raids.
How to get Shiny Normal Form Deoxys in Pokemon Go
Trainers will also have a chance to catch Normal Forme Deoxys in the Shiny variant. There is no better way to get Shiny Deoxys than by fighting as many Deoxys as possible. To help with that, Niantic is giving away two free Raid Passes per day, spinning only Gym Photo Discs, starting Wednesday.
Use these Raid Passes to battle up to two Normal Form Deoxys in Raids for free. Of course, there are other ways to get more Raid Passes.
Premium Raid Passes can be purchased for 100 PokeCoins each in the in-game store, allowing trainers to engage in Raid battles. Remote Raid Passes are also available for 100 PokeCoins each, allowing trainers to enter a Raid from anywhere. There are three Remote Raid Pass deals for 250 PokeCoins.
The color of Shiny Deoxys is the opposite of the usual. It goes from red and blue to bright yellow and green. It’s hard to confuse the two.
Normal Form Deoxys Counters
Normal Forme Deoxys is a pure Psychic-type Pokemon that makes it vulnerable to Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type attacks.
Fortunately for trainers, there are many Mega Pokemon that can help download Normal Forme Deoxys. Trainers will want to bring in as many Dark types as possible, and Mega Houndoom and Absol will do the trick. Recruit them on your team to increase the power of Dark-type attacks to really damage Deoxys.
Mega Gyarados is another great Dark-type Mega option, but typing with Water can be a problem depending on the moves Deoxys makes – more on that in the section below. The same goes for Mega Gengar and Mega Beedrill. Both take advantage of Deoxys’ Ghost and Bug weakness, but are glass balls that can take super-effective damage from Normal Form Deoxys if she has a Psychic-type move. Again, more on that in the section below.
Tyranitar, Darkrai, Weavile, and Hyrdreigon are some of the strongest Dark types in the game, while Chandelure and Giratina must be paired with Mega Gengar to take advantage of Deoxys’ Ghost weakness. Bug types like Scizor are viable options, but we think this list of Pokemon are the best counters for Normal Forme Deoxys.

Normal Form Deoxys Moveset
Normal Forme Deoxys is an interesting Pokemon. As a psychic type, it is imperative that he has at least one move of the same type. Zen Headbutt is his main Quick Attack and deals damage to Mega Gengar and Mega Beedrill.
Charge Beam, an electric-type attack, is the other Quick Attack option and will spell doom for Mega Gyarados and other Water or Flying types. Thunderbolt, a paid option, is another way for Deoxys to take down this Pokemon.
Hyper Beam is Normal Forme Deoxys’ other Charged option, and being a Normal-type attack is ineffective against any type. Instead, Pokemon like Tyranitar will resist it, so it’s a great addition to any team that opposes it.
Here is a list of moves that Normal Forme Deoxys might know in Pokemon Go.
Fast attack | Charged Attack |
---|---|
zen head shot | psycho empowerment |
charge beam | Lightning |
hyper beam |
