Lo, the fateful PlayStation 4 horror classic, “Until Dawn,” whispered of a grand resurrection this harvest season. Behold, for Sony hath unveiled that the “Until Dawn” remake shall grace the realms of PlayStation 5 and PC ere long.

Methinks the foremost observation lies in the artisans behind this enhanced manifestation, for Ballistic Moon hath taken the mantle from Supermassive Games, the progenitors of old. Astonishingly, the stalwart players who lent their forms to the game’s digital spectacles – Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek, among them – may find themselves supplanted by fresh countenances of the thespian ilk, albeit this remains uncertain. Yet doth Peter Stormare grace us with his ominous embodiment of Dr. Hill, a role he shall reprise with eldritch finesse.
Anon, a query doth linger in mine thoughts: would Sony, in their munificence, bestow a boon upon owners of the original “Until Dawn,” a modest upgrade perchance? Aye, ere hath they bestowed such grace upon other titles within their fiefdom of PlayStation Studios, revealing a precedent of generosity. Such a gesture would surely fan the embers of intrigue for this reimagined opus. Yet, prithee, let the curtain fall on these reimaginings and remasters of yore, and usher forth new tales for the realm of PlayStation 5.
