In the true fashion of FromSoft, the trailer doth teem with gameplay delights aplenty. A plethora of new weapons doth grace our sight, including a dagger of most striking aspect, and perhaps even a double jump ability. Aye, ’tis not all, for a multitude of new foes hath been unveiled, including one resembling none other than the Nameless King from ‘Dark Souls III’. A man atop a dragon hurling bolts of lightning – who else could it be but the Nameless King?
Moreover, the trailer doth present a substantial emphasis on cooperative play, showcasing three intrepid heroes traversing the open world, facing bosses and foes in unison. Whilst one could surely embark on the journey solo, as is oft the custom with FromSoft’s creations, the potential for cooperative exploits within ‘Elden Ring’ doth pique curiosity.
As a standalone offering, ‘Nightreign’ may perchance be procured independent of ‘Elden Ring’, granting players the chance to delve into this new realm without prior ownership of its predecessor.
