A feast for the eyes awaited in the form of screenshots showcasing the upcoming additions to the game: character Chat Bubbles and the Strategy Board for encounters, seamlessly integrated into the game’s fabric.
The Chat Bubbles, a longstanding desire of the community, are finally making their way into the game. NPCs in cities and FATEs have sported them since the game’s inception, and now, after a period of testing, they will soon be an official feature. The vibrant colors of each bubble harmonize with the corresponding chats, creating a visually appealing experience. The functionality remains an enigma – will it be a permanent fixture or an optional delight? Only time will tell.
As battle enthusiasts gathered around, the unveiling of the Strategy Board (dubbed the White Board in Japan) ignited excitement. Offering players a platform to devise and share strategies for encounters, this feature aims to streamline the planning process for high-end battles. No more reliance on external sites for guides; everything will be at your fingertips within the game.
Both Chat Bubbles and the Strategy Board were initially promised in Dawntrail, yet their absence was notable. Fear not, for these features have not been forsaken. The Pax West panels reassured fans that they are still in the pipeline, awaiting their debut in future updates.
