In the realm of mobile gaming at CES 2025, Acer stepped onto the stage, unveiling the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller. This innovative device offers a fresh alternative to the well-known Backbone and Razer controllers, seamlessly compatible with both iOS and Android phones straight out of the box.
A folding controller designed for gaming on mobile devices, the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller draws inspiration from its predecessors, the Backbone One and Razer Kishi V2. These sturdy controllers allow users to attach their phones for a more traditional gaming experience, particularly beneficial for console gaming on mobile through cloud services.

Setting itself apart, the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller transcends platform limitations by offering compatibility with both iOS and Android devices. Apple users from the iPhone 15 onwards and Android devices running Android 9.0 or higher can look forward to experiencing Acer’s innovative gaming solution. Scheduled for release in North America at a later date, the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller will be priced at $70.
