Minecraft Netherite tools and weapon crafting explained 1

Minecraft Netherite tools and weapon crafting explained

Minecraft Netherite tools are arguably the best tools you can get in Minecraft, with Netherite weapons, gear, and tools that are much tougher and more durable than almost any other variant you can find in Minecraft. Introduced as part of the (now distant) Minecraft Nether update, Netherite tools last longer than their diamond counterparts – but are proportionally just as difficult to get your cubic claws into. That said, we’ll show you the easiest how-to methods to craft Netherite tools and weapons yourself, whether it’s an indestructible pickaxe or an unstoppable sword.

How to make Netherite tools and weapons in Minecraft

Making Netherite tools and weapons in Minecraft is a fairly simple process and is divided into the following stages:

one. Craft a Diamond version of the Netherite tool/weapon you want (so if you want a Netherite Pickax, make a Diamond)

2. Build a Mooring Table (two Iron Ingots at the top of the 3×3 crafting grid, four wooden planks below them, occupying a total of 2×3 spaces). Alternatively, get one from a village.

3. Place a Netherite Ingot and said Diamond Tool on the Smithing Table as shown above.

4. This provides you with a Netherite tool. Considering this is an “upgrade” to the existing vehicle rather than a new creation, it preserves current enchantments as well as lost stamina.

This is the first time Minecraft has introduced an upgrade system instead of creating an entirely new item. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Netherite is that it floats while in lava; that means you can’t accidentally throw it away or lose it when you die in the fiery pits of hell. You will be able to recover all your Netherite items as long as you get them within the five-minute period.

Uses Netherite and crafting

Besides tools and armor, Netherite can be used for two other things. The first is to turn on the flashlights. Plug in a Netherite nugget as you would any other power source and it will work. The problem is that Netherite nuggets are very troublesome to obtain, so this is not an effective use when you can use a stack of Iron ingots instead.

Of course, you can combine nine Netherite nuggets to create a Netherite block. This is just a decorative item to show you have more Netherite than you need and to add wealth to any visitor you may have.
