Microsoft announces interactive room match sharing for Xbox

What’s New at Microsoft: Interactive Rooms on Xbox

In recent years, the Microsoft has dedicated resources to offering new updates to its users. The company had already released a design tool using AI and now presents a new feature for the console.

The developers decided to integrate the contacts available on the Teams network with the Xbox gaming experience. The company announced the creation of a Game Bar from which it will be possible to share games with friends.

The project titled “Microsoft Teams Play Together” allows players to make a video call through the Teams tool. This way, in a room with up to 20 participants, the user will be able to share their screen and everyone present will be able to follow their actions and gameplay.

This experience was evaluated with good reproduction results on both computers and mobile phones. According to experts, there are still some improvements needed so that this feature can compete with others already available on the internet, for example Twitch.

This new feature is now available in the game streaming. However, some features, such as overlapping participant observation, have not yet been released.

The next step for creators is to improve the audio system for video calls. The aim is for each participant to present their voice in different locations using a microphone, allowing each participant to be identified, just as happens in meetings.

Soon, all system will be in operation and the public will give their evaluation to the company.
