If you’re landing at Groovy Grove or Fungi Farm and then traveling to The Glow in Fortnite, then the ‘black’ part of this description is important here. It’s not enough to walk to one of the starting points and continue from there, but if you redeploy your glider during the match – for example by launching it from a geyser or descending through a rift – then you’re likely to land right. As all of these places are highlights in Fortnite, you won’t find them marked on the main map, so if you haven’t visited them before and made a note of where they are, you may not know where to start looking for them. Fortnite Mushroom Farm, Groovy Grove, and The Glow locations
As you can see on the map above, Groovy Grove is located west of Reality Falls, Fungi Farm is southwest of Greasy Grove, and your final destination in The Glow is at Loot Lake, west of Coney Crossroads. While Groovy Grove is a slightly closer starting point, Fungi Farm has better travel options to get to The Glow, but wherever you start, you should avoid passing Tilted Towers on the way unless you’re ready for battle.
Terrain in Groovy Grove in Fortnite
You may already be familiar with Fortnite Groovy Grove, as it was a featured location in one of the Week Zero missions. This landmark is located west of Reality Falls and can be identified by a sloping road that winds through a valley covered with Fortnite giant mushrooms.
Land on the Mushroom Farm in Fortnite
Fortnite Mushroom Farm is located southwest of Greasy Grove and consists of several red barns surrounded by more giant mushrooms. After searching these buildings to stock up on weapons and items, you can travel a short distance to the northeast to find a Fortnite Grapple Gloves station, and equipping them will allow you to travel to The Glow much faster.
Journey to Glow in Fortnite
Fortnite The Glow is located in the central Loot Lake area, in the eastern part of the waters filled with various floating platforms and ramps. If you look closely below the surface here, you can see Fortnite Zero Point, the cause of The Glow, as well as the source of strange powers spreading across the island to sprouting more Reality Trees in various places.
