Publisher Bushiroad Games and developer Eighting surprised fans by announcing the development of a new fighting game, based on the ‘Hunter x Hunter’ universe.
The title promises to be large-scale inspired by the work of Yoshihiro Togashi, author also known as ‘Yu Yu Hakusho‘. Despite the announcement, information about the release date and platforms has not yet been released.

Eighting, known for games like ‘DNF DUEL’, ‘Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3’ and the ‘Bloody Roar’ series, teams up with Bushiroad, whose catalog includes ‘Cardfight Vanguard’, ‘Crayon Shin Chan’ and ‘Miss Kobayashi Dragon’s Maid’, to develop this highly anticipated game.
Although few details were revealed in the announcement, the producers said that more details will be presented during Bushiroad’s New Year 2024 event, scheduled for January 6th.
In the console universe, Gon, Killua and their friends were last present in 2019, with the release of ‘Jump Force’.
Adaptations of games entirely based on ‘Hunter x Hunter’ ended in 2012, with the launch of the RPG ‘Wonder Adventure’ exclusive to the PSP in Japan.
