The secret ending of Cyberpunk 2077 is unlocked based on your relationship with Johnny Silverhand. The choices and dialogue options you make throughout the game mean you have to do things right for a long time to get access to it. These decisions and conversational options can be easy to overlook if you don’t know their significance, meaning your Johnny Silverhand relationship could suffer long before you realize it’s important in Cyberpunk 2077. a large part of the game makes it hard to love it.

But if you want the mystery in Cyberpunk 2077 to be over, you must treat Johnny a certain way. So, to avoid messing things up by possibly making bad decisions dozens of hours before it’s due, we’ve covered every critical choice for the secret ending and explained how to check your Johnny Silverhand relationship to make sure you’re doing things right.

Of course, before we get into it, let’s point out that there are clearly major Cyberpunk 2077 spoilers beyond the image below, so just scroll through if you dare.

How to control your Johnny Silverhand relationship

There’s a lot of talk that you have to be on really good terms with Johnny to get the secret ending with a relationship status of at least 70%. But most people seem to be able to get it with 60%. Instead, some key dialogue options seem much more important to unlocking the secret ending. If you want to check your Johnny Silverhand relationship, it’s the middle box at the top of the pause menu.

The key thing is to basically let Johnny do what he wants – if he wants to smoke, drink, take over your body, let him do it. Just to be safe.

Cyberpunk 2077 secret ending dialogue options

At critical points of the game, you have to choose options that will improve your relationship with Silverhand. The easy way to do this is to let it do what it wants when the option pops up. Usually the actions that please Johnny are obvious – letting him go out and do what he wants.

However, an early mission Chippin’ In seems to have had a major impact on the graveyard scene through dialogue alone. It’s easy to miss this as it could be a long time before it ends, depending on how you progress through the game. To increase your chances, choose the following Cyberpunk 2077 secret final dialogue options at this point in the game:

  1. [Inscribe Johnny’s Initials] “Let’s do something about it.”
  2. “The Man Who Saved My Life.”
  3. “No, I ruined it too.”
  4. “What do you want from me?”
  5. “Okay. But since it’s your second chance, this is your last chance.”
  6. “You were a real jerk in the beginning.”
  7. “When you say you let your friends down…”
  8. “Smasher we really impressed him.”
  9. “Yes, I’ll call Rogue.”

Cyberpunk 2077 Nocture OP55N1 options

When you reach the end point of the final mission, Nocture OP55N1, you will be on the roof with Johnny. At this point you will need to do the following:

  1. Choose the ending option that lets Johnny go with the Rogue
  2. At the next dialogue option (where there is the option to ‘put this to rest’, take the pseudoendothrine or tell Johnny ‘you need a minute’) just wait.
  3. Keep searching through the gun and pills, and Johnny will eventually come up with an alternative option – a suicide run, in which he offers to go to Asakana alone.

This Cyberpunk 2077 secret ending offers the only closing mission to be played later where you won’t suffer any losses. It’s a finish option that requires you to be incredibly high-level, so you’ll want to try and grind a little before trying it. Also, this is one hit and you don’t deal, so if you die at any point during the mission it will fail and you will be sent straight to credits. I told you it was hardcore.

Doing this quest will earn you some exclusive in-game content not found anywhere else, so be sure to definitely check it out if you can.
