How to unlock all Multiversus characters

The Multiversus characters have a wide variety of questions attached to them from the very beginning – which characters can you play, how do you unlock them, and who is the best character to play in Multiversus? With a wide selection of Warner Bros branded fighters to choose from from a multitude of different classes (not to mention the new wildcard Reindog), with everything you need to know about all the Multiversus characters along with the helpful information listed below.

While most of the MultiVersus characters are immediately available, some will need to be unlocked before you can choose them for upcoming battles. You do this by spending Gold Coins earned by meeting unlock conditions or playing matches, completing quests, or leveling up – once you’ve accumulated enough of this in-game currency, these purchases are made from the Collection menu. Select the padlocked character and then press the Unlock button at the bottom of the screen.

You can also pay for characters with Gleamium or Character Tickets, special MultiVersus currencies that are often locked behind paywalls, or a battle pass. The condition or cost of unlocking MultiVersus characters is as follows:

It’s also worth noting that although Wonder Woman only requires you to pass the basic tutorial, it reappears in the MultiVersus kickback tutorial, which has issues significant enough to warrant its own guide.

So far, a list of 16 MultiVersus characters has been confirmed from the following sources:

You’ll recognize many of these names from their television, movie, and comic book appearances, but Reindog is an exception as they’re an entirely original creature made specifically for MultiVersus.

The developers have confirmed that “more characters will be added to MultiVersus continuously,” so expect this MultiVersus list to expand significantly in the future. We don’t know who these new fighters will be yet, but Rick Sanchez has been included in the list of leaked characters seen in 2021, and as part of the training you have to hit various Meeseeks with attacks, which he (and maybe Morty Smith too) will be added to the lineup.

The best characters in Multiversus will likely change over the next few months – after all, the game is currently in Beta – but we’ve seen some highlights and some early winners that we think are worth mentioning. We will consider these below:

• Superman: You can’t say it doesn’t make sense. The Supe’s aerial control, versatile movement, and extraordinarily effective special features make it a great choice, especially for beginners. The side special is a specific powerhouse, allowing you to effectively teleport and launch a powerful attack after respawning.
• Tom and Jerry: At the other end of the scale, this chaotic couple unbelievably it’s hard to overcome, but once you do, they become a strong team with several equals. The odd, unpredictable movement works well at range, and Jerry is really good at catching enemies unawares, as he’s the kind of live bullet that can be controlled and steered without practice. Note that these two work much better for team play than MultiVersus 1v1.
• Harley Quinn: Bird of Prey is fast, hard-hitting, with a variety of move sets and some wildcard attacks, not to mention DC once again, and not to mention the traps behind it. It can reposition itself fairly quickly, leaving a trail of destruction that many players won’t be ready for.

MultiVersus characters are each available in one of five motion set classes, along with one of the three directional classes. Aspect classes are less important because they confirm at a glance whether their moves are better suited to Horizontal or Vertical combat or a Hybrid of the two. However, move set classes will determine the fighting styles they offer as follows:

assassin class

• Arya Stark – Hybrid (Expert)
• Finn Human – Horizontal
• Harley Quinn – Vertical

Assassins are usually all about doing a lot of damage at close range with weapons. You can surrender by defeating your opponents by constantly dealing more damage.

Bruiser class

• Batman – Vertical
• garnet – Horizontal
• Dog Jake – Hybrid
• hairy – Hybrid (Recommended)
• Tasmanian Devil aka Taz – Horizontal

Bruisers are generally versatile with a series of moves that are easier to understand than most. Don’t underestimate them though, as they will still have some unique abilities that will help them stand out.

wizard class

• insect bunny – Hybrid
• Tom and Jerry – Hybrid

Mages specialize in dealing damage from afar, often using weapons or other tricks. This ability allows you to attack your opponents from the other side of the stage while staying out of melee range.

support class

• shark – Horizontal
• Steven Universe – Horizontal (Expert)
• velma – Horizontal

As the name suggests, Supports have the ability to help the other player on your co-op team. This may include protecting them (and yourself) from damage, using a rope to prevent them from falling off the end, or recuperating in a backup role. we expect a lot Multiple Counter Toast if you are good at it.

Tank class

• iron giant – Hybrid
• Superman – Hybrid
• miracle woman – Horizontal (Recommended)

Tanks have a solid foundation, which means they’re harder to recoil and, in turn, harder to knock them out of the area. It has a mix of offensive and defensive moves, so you can help protect your team while continuing to do damage.

Depending on how your playstyle suits a particular move set, you should choose from the MultiVersus list and consider their orientation as you approach your attacks. In the main 2v2 co-op mode, it’s helpful to choose two classes that complement each other so you get the most out of each of their abilities. Note that Shaggy and Wonder Woman are Recommended MultiVersus characters to begin with due to their easier grasping, while Arya Stark and Steven Universe are considered Expert choices for players as they become more skilled.

Unlike other MultiVersus characters, Reindog stands out as a completely new creation made specifically for the game. According to his biography, Reindog is a Guardian of the Zanifeer royal family, who was a victim of Nothing when the great disaster was triggered. The only survivor of the Zanifeer, Reindog hopes that the power jewel she’s wearing can help her find a way to bring back the family she swore to protect. Right now this information doesn’t make much sense, but we can expect more of the game’s story to unfold when it launches, which will help tie things together more coherently.
