Obtaining and commanding V Ascendant Servants relies on enchanting humans with the power of the Sovereign Being, then returning them to Servant Coffins in your Castle, a process that turns them into immortal minions you can order through the Castle Throne. Once transformed, these Servants hitmen can serve as minions that you can send out to gather resources from key locations, the meter running in real time while they provide you with rewards. Below we’ll go into more detail about creating, enchanting, transforming, and commanding your V Rising Servants, as well as how to best navigate this complex process.
How to obtain and command Maids in V Rising
To recruit minions and command them in V Rising, players must:
- Build Servant Coffin
- Choose the type of Maid you want
- Enchant a human using the Dominant Presence
- Take them back to the Maid’s Coffin and transform them
- Unleash and equip your servant
- Build a Castle Throne
- Send them to different locations for resources
Click on any of these steps or scroll down for more information. The most important thing to know here is the whole element of Servant types – Servants are basically there as a way to raid certain areas while you’re busy, and certain Servant types are better suited for raiding certain locations and environments. And with the number of Maids you can have (a number based on your Servant Coffins), you don’t want to populate the wrong kind of minions – especially considering the long time it takes to cook them. For now, let’s discuss the basics of enslaving mortals to your demonic will.
How to make a Maid Coffin
Players can build Servant Coffins in their castles after progressing to the second level of Castle Heart by following the natural progression path determined by quests. As you level up your Castle Heart, you’ll be able to build more Coffins (initially limited to 5), and each one you build will cost the following resources:
- Planks (x16)
- Copper Ingots (x8)
- Great Blood Essence (x1)
Obviously these aren’t cheap, but consider them an investment, because building Coffins will allow you to get more resources later. And if possible, you I definitely want to build them in a room with a Crypt Floor, assuming you unlocked it via run. If not, don’t worry – you can always put it up later after you’ve researched the ground. V Soaring Scrolls or found in the wild. Now you have to hunt down a human to put it in, but you decide what to do. type people are also important.
Servant Blood Types and Factions revealed in V Rising
Let’s be clear – any type of Servant in V Rising can do any job, it’s just that they will all be better at hunting and raiding certain places than others. They have a niche, so to speak, and you should consider that when considering who you want to fill your coffin.
The two elements that determine what they are good at are their Blood Types (Warrior, Brute, Worker, etc.) and Groups (Bandit, Militia, etc.). Blood Groups reduce the difficulty of certain areas, while Groups increase the resources they get from certain areas of the map. Also, the more “pure” their blood (that is, the greater the percentage they have), the better it helps them to be as Servants.
Once you see this, think about what resources you want most and try to catch people from that area that fit the location. For example, if you want the aforementioned Scrolls, get a Scholar from the Militia and send them to the Monasteries in Dunley Farmlands. The best scholars run the Abbeys and the Militia know Dunley Farmlands.
it’s important to remember that only people who are not bosses can be servants! Unfortunately at the time of writing there is no way to summon monsters like wolves or stone golems – it’s likely that one won’t understand the orders and the other will break the coffin when they enter it.
How to use the Dominant Being and the Vampire’s Kiss to lure people?
V Rising Sharpening Stones | V Rising leather | V Rising Paper | V Rising Whip | V Pisces Rising | V Soaring Grave Powder
When you create a Servant Coffin, you will automatically unlock the power of the Dominant Being applied through an attack called Vampire’s Kiss (which is a bit unnecessarily complicated).
However, putting it into practice is relatively simple. When you see a normal person you want to make a servant, use the CTRL wheel to select the new talisman power. Then, use regular attacks to get the human below 30% – but don’t kill them! Finally, use the Kiss of the Vampire, a ranged attack that keeps you in place while you enchant them, similar to your bite attack.
When it succeeds, your people will be enchanted! Although they will not protect you if you are attacked by other people, they will follow you without attacking. You can only enchant one person at a time, so return them to any empty Maid’s Coffin. If you see a Servant you’d rather be on the way, simply press the Vampire’s Kiss button again to kill the enchanted person who is following you.
Turning people into Servants and speeding up the process
With your new enchanted human in reserve, return them to an unused Maid’s Coffin and interact with it. You’ll get an assessment of what they can do if they’re transformed into a Servant, and a big button you can press to trigger the transformation (alternatively, if you’ve stepped back and changed you might find a better slave). mind).
If you convert it will cost you both 100. V Soaring Blood Essence, and time – especially ninety minutes, when your human is cooked in the Coffin and becomes a Servant slave. Even with , there is no way to bypass this process. V Rising console commands and cheatsbut you can cancel it at any time by interacting with the coffin.
The only way to speed up the conversion process is to place it in the Crypt Floors mentioned above. If the entire room is covered with this particular flooring, it will halve the timers of all Servant Coffins, meaning it would take a quicker forty-five minutes to do so. If you are considering making a lot of slaves in the future, definitely invest in one of these.
Naming, releasing and equipping your servant
When the timer is up, your Servant will be ready. Go back to their coffins and hit the “Raise” button now available, name them first if you want to give them a specific title (although it doesn’t matter beyond your own reference).
They will now come out of the Coffin and start grinding about your Hold without doing much. At this point, you can interact with them, open their inventory, and give them their own weapons and armor based on what you have in your inventory. Give them solid armor and V Rising best weapons you have (even though they only have one, giving them another doesn’t make any difference). Basically, take the best of the loot and give all your minions the second best. V Rising Merciless weapons and gear.
How to build a Castle Throne and order Servants
Once this is done and the quest is complete, the next stage in the progression will ask you to build a Castle Throne with the following resources:
- Stone Brick (x24)
- Iron Ingot (x16)
- Great Blood Essence (x4)
If you need help getting V Rising Stone Brickshere we have a page about it or all V Rising Iron You need. It’s a pretty big build in the “Dominion” section of the Crafting/Building tab, so make sure you have space for it – and don’t forget to stick it in a cool spot while you’re at it. After all, this is your evil vampire throne.
How do you send your minions on raids and resource hunts?
Once you have the Castle Throne, interact with it with F and you will automatically see a version of it. V Ascendant map, all key locations that you have already discovered have been marked as potential raid points for your Servants. Each has the following factors to consider:
- Difficulty: The number next to the crossed sword your Servant should ideally match or exceed this number for best results.
- Estimated Loot: This shows all the resources you can get for successfully raiding the area.
- Hunting Time: A sliding scale you choose determines how long your Servant will stay there, from two hours to twenty-three hours. The longer it takes, the more resources your Servant will receive and the more likely the plan will be successful without injury.
- Best Maids: Next to the difficulty indicator, there will be two icons marking the best Faction and Blood Type to raid this area. If you can, send Servants who fit these criteria.
When you’re ready, press “Let the Hunting Begin”. Your minions will disappear for the duration of the hunt (even if you go to the relevant area you cannot see them). Once complete, you will receive an update on how the hunt is going and the resources connected to it, as well as if your Servants have been injured in the process, which will put them out of commission for a while. Although they can be resurrected from their Coffins for a small Blood Essence cost, they can die and fail completely.
Assuming they’re back safely though, check who has a little bag icon over their head, open their inventory and collect new loot, then return to the Throne and send them on a new hunt. And these are the foundations of the Servants!
