How to get to Elden Ring Consecrated Snowfield?

Reaching the Elden Ring Blessed Snowfield area requires you to find the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion to activate the Grand Lift of Rold. This will take you through some of the hardest parts of Elden Ring. Of course, that being said there is another way to go down – a glitch/exploitation that we’ll also expose below, although we’ve been warned it’s not the most reliable way in the game. Still, it’s worth getting there one way or another, as there are entire regions below, including Snowfield itself, multiple dungeons and towns, and even the magnificent Miquella’s Haligtree, a huge dungeon that lets you explore from top to bottom in a tree-top town. Its roots in finding one of the toughest bosses in the game.

Then it’s definitely worth finding. Therefore, below we will explain how to get to the Holy Snow Field in the Elden Ring, how to get the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Locket, and how to activate the Grand Lift of Rold.

To reach the Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring, players must take the following steps:

1. Reach the Grand Lift of Rold past Leyndell
2. Get the coin in half from the Albinaurics
3. Get half the coin from Commander Niall
4. Bring and use both on the Grand Lift
5. Take the Hidden Path to Haligtree

Once you’ve done all this, be warned, though, you’ll be right in Snowfield – the area you spawned in is covered by a thick snowstorm that reduces your view to just a few feet. Luckily it doesn’t take up the whole area, and as long as you use your compass to keep heading north in Torrent, you’ll eventually move to a (slightly) more welcoming place.

Below we’ll go into more detail about each of the aforementioned steps, as they will involve a combination of skill, brute strength, superior patience and, in an awkward stride, playing a little hide-and-seek with someone.

Reach the Grand Lift of Rold in East Leyndell after killing Morgott

You’ll actually encounter the Grand Lift of Rold by killing Morgott in Leyndell (and here’s how to beat Morgott in the Elden Ring if you’re still having trouble). Once you do this, the barrier blocking the East path from Leyndell will open, allowing you to access the Grand Lift of Rold.

This is more like how to use Dectus’ Grand Lift in Elden Ring – just multiple targets. If you present the Rold Locket that Melina gave you after killing Morgott, it will take you to the Giants Mountaintops. However, if you can get the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Locket, you down A path to the Blessed Snow Field. This means that your current goal is to find these two halves, and for one of them this is not easy.

Obtain the Haligtree Hidden Medallion (Right) from the hidden Albus in Albinaurik Village

The right half of the coin belongs to an NPC in Liurnia who will give it to you if you ask him. However, you have to find him – he is in Albinuarics Village, a seedy settlement in the caves under the plateau on the Southwest side, and even then he is hiding.

You can find Albus on the East side of the Village, but by magic he is disguised as a large pot next to a stone coffin and a small red tree (there are probably many player messages to help you know where he is). Hit him just once with an attack to dispel the illusion and reveal his true form, a skinny old man with long limbs, bent over. Then you just need to talk to her and she will give you the key item Haligtree Secret Locket (Right) to protect you from the “curse mongers” and also hand it over to another NPC named Latenna. Don’t worry, you don’t have to do this and he won’t take it away from you even if you do.

Obtain the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left) from the Commander Niall boss fight

To get the left half of the Haligtree coin, you need to kill Commander Niall, an optional boss fight at the end of Castle Sol, the northernmost of the Mountaintops of the Giants – and we have to apologize in advance because he’s a nightmare You’re a boss with a bad reputation in the Elden Ring community for being one of the worst you have to deal with. Commander Niall isn’t actually holding the Locket himself, it’s right next to the boss fight arena. When he dies, run to a small elevator that will transport you to the top of a watchtower, and his second half is lying on the ground next to a ghostly NPC.

Bring both halves of the Haligtree Secret Locket to the Grand Lift of Rold

Once you have both halves, head back to the Grand Lift of Rold and there will be a new prompt this time for “Remove Hidden Medal” (which you may need to pass). As with Dectus, there will be a short cutscene where your character does just that, then it will be demoted to a new area – technically you’re not in the Snow Field yet, but almost now.

Take the Hidden Path to Haligtree to reach the Sacred Snow Field

This is a somewhat tricky area – although the Secret Path to the Haligtree dungeons is quite large and has many secrets, it’s relatively simple to get through, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. There are invisible walkways above deadly pits, it’s a secret Elden Ring Mimic Tear boss fight, illusion walls, but most of them are optional and something you can come back to later. If you just want to cross, take the big staircase in the hallway, kill or jump the big octopus at the top, then turn right after climbing some more stairs to reach Snowfield!

While there is a theoretical way to get to the Holy Snow Field without the locket or meeting with Commander Niall, this is a somewhat unreliable error, although some have reported success, we couldn’t find it at the time of writing, so do so at your own risk.

The method here is to throw yourself off the cliffs past the Giants’ Great Cabin in the Western Mountains, using Torrent to double-jump as far as possible from a farther point, aiming at the Little Erdtree below. You’ll always fall to your death, but some have said that they landed in a collecting area for a Marika Spike by falling in the right spot, and when they die there, they can choose to respawn at the stake in the Snow Field. !

You can get to Snowfield pretty quickly after killing Morgott, especially if you use the method outlined above – but we don’t recommend it. Actually we used to say The recommended level for the Sacred Snow Field is around 100 minimum, It gets much higher as you dig deeper in the area and encounter some bosses. This is a late game field that will definitely match the late game challenges. If you want to deal with what’s going on here, you’ll need to be equally late game Tarnished, or at least using one of our Elden Ring best builds.

The Blessed Snow Field is actually much larger than you might think, divided into numerous sub-locations, dungeons, mini-dungeons, and more. While listing everything can be a bit overwhelming, here are some excellent starting points to check out and what you can expect to find there.

1. Yellow Anix Tunnel: Finally boss Astel, a dungeon/mine with Stars of Darkness; Astel is a variation of the Naturalborn of the Void boss fight, the secret ending encountered in the Elden Ring Ranni questline.
2. Mohgwyn’s Palace Pass: If you haven’t done the Elden Ring Varre questline yet, here is a portal in the snow that will take you to Mohgywn’s Palace (or at least the suburbs).
3. Walking Mausoleum: Here’s another chance to multiply your Memories, but be warned that this constantly fires magic artillery around it until it’s fixed.
4. Ordina, Liturgical City: This is a rough puzzle city that relies on lighting torches in another dimension (less complex than you might think) while avoiding fearsome invisible assassins. Worth doing as it opens a portal beyond Haligtree.
5. Little Erdtree: Here’s a Putrid Avatar boss you need to kill, and you’ll get a Ruptured Crystal Tear – which causes the Wonder Physick Flask to blow you up. Is this… definitely interesting?
6. Miquella’s Haligtree/Elphael: This vast and deadly dungeon rushes you through the branches of a gigantic tree, starting at the top and working your way through tree house towns to the roots, where you’ll encounter Malenia, arguably the deadliest boss in the Elden Ring.
