For a short time, the process of getting Mechagodzilla into Warzone proved difficult for players trying to get this special Tracer Pack. As the third Store pack released to coincide with the Warzone Operation Monarch event, those planning to join the Monsterverse as Warzone Mechagodzilla with new skins, weapons, and other customization items were left incomplete, as initially only the Kong and Godzilla packs were available. How to buy Mechagodzilla in Warzone
Initially, there was an issue where only Kong and Godzilla Spectator Packs could be purchased individually from the Store tab, causing players to look for an expensive workaround on how to obtain Mechagodzilla in Warzone. Fortunately, this is no longer needed, as the Warzone Mechagodzilla bundle is now released separately in the Store, so you can purchase it directly for 2,400 COD Points without any fuss or additional purchases.
Previously, the only way to get Mechagodzilla into Warzone was to go to the Operation Monarch tab, where you can see the “Buy Multiple Packs, Earn Rewards” offer. If you follow this warning you can buy the Godzilla bundle which will take you to the Kong bundle screen and if you buy that too, the option to purchase Mechagodzilla will appear in Warzone. Note that each of these packages costs 2400 COD Points; this means you have to drop the equivalent of around $60 / £50 to buy all three, which is a significant investment for cosmetics.
To clarify, the ‘multi-pack rewards’ mentioned are a special Godzilla v Kong Weapon Sticker and ‘Super Species’ Player Title to purchase two bundles, and a special Legendary Owen Weapon Plan to purchase all three. Now that Warzone Mechagodzilla is available separately, you don’t need to make these multiple purchases if you don’t want to own multiple packs and claim these additional rewards.
