V Rising Grave Dust is found by killing undead enemies in certain necrotic areas around the world and even in nearby containers. Grave Dust is a highly valuable early to mid-game resource and is used to craft magical items and resources rather than more mechanical, mundane creations. You’ll find you need it often, so it’s good to know where to find Grave Dust in V Rising – a question we’ll tackle below and how it can be farmed endlessly.
How to get and farm V Rising Grave Dust
Grave Dust in V Rising can be obtained in any of the following ways, which we’ll cover below:
- Found in containers in cemeteries and cemeteries
- As a random drop from undead enemies
- Raised from Ghouls that spawn through Graves
- Made by putting Bones in a Grinder.
The main priority for early players should be to find these cemeteries, probably as they do not open the required Graves or Grinders for the second options. Find cemeteries and cemeteries for yourself – we’ve marked three easy, early islands on the map above – and you’ll encounter a variety of Ghouls and undead enemies, all of which have a chance to drop Grave Dust when killed. All chests, barrels, and containers also have a chance to drop Grave Dust, so when you find a graveyard, knock everything and everyone inside it to the ground. If you need more, either go to the next cemetery or go back to your Castle and give time for everything to respawn.
If you want to collect Grave Dust in your own Castle, you have two options – Grinders or Graves. Graves can be built after killing a Level 27 Boss Goreswine the Ravager, spawning enemies depending on what you put inside. Put 12 Mourning Lilies (which can also be found in cemeteries) and it will spawn Ghouls that have a chance to drop Grave Dust when killed.
To use the grinder – probably the easiest, least expensive method – you can check our page at. V Rising Stone Bricks, where we lay out how it was built. Then, when powered up, simply discard the Bones and the Grinder will turn them into Grave Dust. This isn’t an efficient process, however – it takes 100 Bones to build a single pile of Grave Dust, so if you don’t have a lot of skeletons in your closets, consider other options first.
