Darth Vader’s arrival in Fortnite gives players the chance to take him down in Battle Royale and loot their own red Lightsaber if you can beat him. This elegant weapon for a more civilized age is both fun and devastating in the right hands, but not easy to obtain as Darth Vader is unsurprisingly quite powerful in Fortnite! How to find Darth Vader in Fortnite
Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers appear somewhere at the start of every Fortnite match and stay there unless killed. As the Battle Bus begins to fly over the Fortnite map, look around to follow where Darth Vader’s white Lambda-class Shuttle flew off. It’s not hard to miss and will quickly drop you off at Imperial Docking Bay anywhere on the island, leaving you to either dive off the bus or get off nearby and reach it on foot. Notice the blue light beam that shows where you are after landing.
While Imperial Stormtroopers may have a terrifying aim in the movies, that doesn’t mean you should arrive at Vader’s Imperial region without expecting a battle. We highly recommend that you land at a nearby POI or Landmark to scavenge for some loot – a solid weapon and at least a few shields – before moving on to tackling Vader. Also note that you will not find Darth Vader in any competitive Fortnite mode.
How to beat Darth Vader in Fortnite

Now that you’re armed and ready to fight the Sith Lord, approach Imperial Docking Bay, where Vader’s shuttle is located, and you’ll be quickly spotted by Vader and his Stormtroopers. To defeat Darth Vader, all you have to do is hit him hard. He has a shield that needs to be broken and then you can start to wear down his health.
While moving slowly, remember that in some cases their attacks are swift and brutal. You’ll want to stay out of the Lightsaber’s range, but be wary of sword throws and Force attacks. It can also block many of your shots with ease, so make sure you don’t waste too much ammo. However, you can rest assured that once you absorb enough bullets, it will drop and leave the iconic red Lightsaber behind for you to pick up. Use or throw it nearby to knock down your enemies and get the Victory Royale.
While Vader is tough, Stormtroopers can also pose a bit of a threat. They are very similar to the Fortnite IO Guardians from previous seasons and can be knocked down fairly easily. Knock them all out and you’ll be eliminated leaving some loot and Mythic E-11 Blasters behind. The E-11 is a good mid-range weapon, especially useful for its infinite ammo, so it’s worth getting one alongside Darth Vader’s Lightsaber.
