How to find Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt

Finish the Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt by completing a challenge, then find the Treasure Chest to get loads of rewards. For the challenge, you’ll need to complete a daring Danger Sign stunt that will reveal the tricky location of the treasure chest near Mulege. After scanning the area and exploring the chest, open (smash) it to get Forza Horizon 5 rewards, including 50,000 Credits and a Wheelspin. Here are all the details on how to complete Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunt in Mulege.

How to start Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunts and find Treasure Chests

Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunts are weekly missions that you can find on the Festival Playlist page when you pause the game. Not every season in a series has a treasure hunt, so you don’t always have something to do. All information about the current Treasure Hunt is available in the tab corresponding to the current season. At the end of the hunt you will find a Treasure Chest and you will be generously rewarded with XP, Credits and Wheel of Fortune for your efforts.

These Treasure Hunts are pretty similar to Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds, but with a few key differences. Like Barn Finds, these Treasure Hunts will give you a general area to search for the chest. However, unlike a Barn Find, you’ll have to complete a challenge to reveal this area, rather than wait for a rumor. Complete this challenge and you will see the Scribbled Treasure Hunt location on your map with a large red circle. Go to this place and look for the Treasure Chest – a large wooden chest painted in various colors and with the ‘Horizon’ print on both sides. To break it, get inside the chest and get all your rewards.

There are a few Forza Horizon 5 tips you can use to make these Treasure Hunts a little easier. Essentially, you need to use map filters to remove clutter on the map and make it show only essential icons. The only icons you need to display are Seasonal Collectibles, Icons, and any activity you need to do for the Treasure Hunt challenge. Drone Mode will also be really useful for reconnaissance of the area.

Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt location in Mulege

To find the New Heights Treasure Hunt Treasure Chest in Forza Horizon 5, you must first get at least two stars in the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign stunt event while driving the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray – other challenges and championships may restrict your use of a Forza Horizon 5 reasonable priced car or any other type of car. You can find this Danger Sign and its ramp on a hill just north of the town of Mulege. Mulege is south of the map below the main Horizon Festival Mexico site in Baja California.

To get two stars on the Mule Hills Distress Sign, you must travel at least 400 feet (121.9 meters) in the air after flying off the ramp. The 2020 Corvette Stingray is a pretty fast car, so you don’t have to run far up the ramp to fly far enough. Traveling around 70 mph in Stingray, we managed to get two stars on this Danger Sign.

After completing this part of the Treasure Hunt, you will circle the Treasure Chest area on your map, which will be just west of Mulege. The Treasure Chest can be found on the north side of the white crop shelters west of Mulege. Crawl into the chest to smash it and get your rewards. Be sure to pay attention to the Forza Horizon 5 Hold Your Horses Treasure Hunt challenge as well.
