The new updates have changed a few environmental items, but the basic method of finding Diamonds in Minecraft has not changed, and we’ve made it clear below.

While Minecraft is Netherite (opens in new tab) is now the strongest material for weapons and armor in Minecraft, Diamonds work as the base and more easier to obtain by comparison (although still a bit difficult overall).
If you get yourself a full set of Diamond armor and a Diamond sword, as well as an Enchanting Table, you’ll be ready for any enemies trying to get you. - Diamonds only spawn below Y=16
Press F3 while playing Minecraft on PC (Java Edition) or console, before loading your world you need to go into the game options and select “Show Coordinates” (Bedrock Edition). Diamonds can only spawn naturally below the 16th Y level, meaning you won’t find good stuff if you’re exploring a cave that doesn’t descend significantly. - Search and listen to lava pools
Diamonds don’t tend to spawn near lava, but lava pools are naturally more open areas and you can look at more blocks that way. Also, if you find a natural lava pool at this level, it means that every single block you see surrounding the pool has the potential to become a Diamond Ore. - Divide the mine into Y=10
Branch mining essentially digs up to Y=10, then creates symmetrical paths that branch off. Then you’re mine in a straight line. So every three blocks you will start a new road in both directions. You don’t want to have a new branch mine path on every other block, because you’re limiting the number of new blocks and potential Diamonds you see in the wall, so it needs to be two blocks thick. wall. - Explore deep caves

Introduced in 1.19, these new biomes spawn at the same depth as Diamonds, but offer no real advantage in finding them. On the contrary, it is quite difficult for unprepared players – if you come across one, tunnel in the opposite direction, as this only puts you at a disadvantage.
