Destiny 2 Iron Banner daily challenges is a new addition to the revamped PvP event and you can learn about them in the Objectives screen. You’ll also need to complete one for the new ‘Forging Iron’ Iron Banner quest for Season of the Haunted. While the return of the Rift game mode might cause some confusion, you’ll want to complete these challenges for Pinnacle gear and Iron Banner Rank boosts. Here’s what you need to know about how to find the Iron Banner daily challenges in Destiny 2 and complete them to make Lord Saladin – or rather Valus Forge – proud.
How to find Destiny 2 Iron Banner daily challenges
You can learn about Iron Banner’s daily challenges by opening the Objectives page, selecting The Crucible, and then hovering your cursor over the Iron Banner event node. This will bring up the infobox at the bottom that shares all the details about the challenges. We don’t know what the objectives were at the time of writing this, but rest assured you’ll only complete them in a few matches – the first day was to complete three matches using the Solar or Void Subclasses.

It’s important to note that these Iron Banner daily challenges, rewards, and Forging Iron quests are character-based, not account-based. This means that completing a challenge on one character will not complete it on your other characters, so you’ll have to do it again.
To get more Iron Banner daily challenges, you’ll automatically get a new one at the daily reset for the first four days of Iron Banner – i.e. Tuesday through Friday. Surprisingly, they’re marked as ‘Weekly’ quests and don’t expire until the end of the Iron Banner event, so you can wait until Friday’s daily reset to get the fourth challenge and then complete them all in one go. all prizes.
Iron Banner daily challenge rewards
When you complete a daily challenge for Iron Banner as part of the new Forging Iron promotional quest, you will receive your rewards: a Pinnacle Iron Banner loot drop cap of 1560 and a 100% increase in your Iron Banner Rank gains to help you reach this season’s power. Each challenge rewards this boost and there will be four daily challenges per Iron Banner event, so completing them all will greatly increase your rank gains. Be sure to check with Saladin in the Tower to collect rank rewards and Iron Banner Engrams as well.
You can use up to 5 pieces of Iron Banner gear – this is any Iron Banner weapon or piece of armor – and any Iron Banner emblem to further increase your Iron Banner Rank gains. A note about the rank boost for wearing Iron Banner armor: the armor can be the item itself or an ornament. Also, if you equip an Iron Banner armor with a different Iron Banner ornament on it, those two pieces will count as gear, so you don’t need to wear a full armor set to get the maximum rank boost.
Season of the Haunted has just begun, and alongside this Iron Banner update, it has brought back the Leviathan ship as a patrol site. You can join the new Nightmare Containment in Derelict Leviathan and explore all its nooks and crannies for Destiny 2 Calus Bobbleheads or loot chests with Destiny 2 Opulent Keys.
