We’ll cover all of them below and how to become a werewolf in The Sims 4 Werewolves expansion in general.

How to become a werewolf in The Sims 4

Currently, there are five ways we know of for a Sim to become a werewolf in The Sims 4, these are listed below:

1. Ask a werewolf to bite you

2. Being attacked by a werewolf

3. Being the child of werewolf parents

4. Create a werewolf from scratch in Create-a-Sim (CAS)

5. Replace sim with cheats

While there are several methods to reach the same point, individually they are not very complicated. The game seems to be doing a lot to make sure being a werewolf is easy, accessible, and feasible for any player – again, when something is the focus of an addon, it’s worth bringing it up and running. The actual stages of lycanthropy may vary depending on how you mean it, but we’ll explain this in more detail below.

1. Ask a werewolf to bite you

If a character is a werewolf and you want to transform another character into one, have the uninfected character go talk to them and there will be a dialogue option for that! The werewolf in question will need to have the “Cursed Bite” ability and a good relationship between two Sims – something you can guarantee with a few liberally applied Sims 4 relationship cheats. Once bitten, the Sim will go through four stages of increasing lycanthropy and eventually become a full-fledged werewolf.

2. Being attacked by a werewolf

If a character is bitten by a werewolf as part of a non-consensual attack instead of a pre-arranged toothy kiss, they will contract a disease called Werebies. This will eventually turn into full fledged lycanthropy and much faster than the above method. To cure him, immediately go to the Grimtooth Bar and ask for Werebies Remedy. Remember that you must treat them while they are still Werebies – once evolved, you cannot be cured.

3. Being the child of werewolf parents

Any Sims born to werewolf parents are guaranteed to be werewolves themselves, which makes sense, and the rate drops to 50% if you only have one werewolf parent. Baby werewolves show no signs of their condition, but when they exhibit certain animalistic behaviors (of course, check out how to age a toddler if you don’t want to wait that long) in the toddler stage and begin to kick noticeably upwards. 4. Create a werewolf from scratch in Create-a-Sim (CAS)

If you’re creating Sims, you can make them werewolves from scratch. Werewolves are a hidden feature you can choose from in CAS, and the Werewolves pack itself comes with a variety of wolf-themed outfits and options that aren’t in the base game, so it’s worth checking out regardless.

5. Replace sim with cheats

If you want to take the most efficient route, use the cheats to inject crowbar dog DNA into your Sims and turn them into instant werewolves. Check out our Sims 4 werewolf cheats page to learn exactly the code needed to change this and more.
