A walkthrough on how to beat an Evil Dead game, It’s Not Gonna Let Go Us Mission 4! The mission will be vital for anyone looking to add Support Survivor Pablo Simon Bolivar to their ranks. Pablo is a really good support character who uses Charms to support player shields and is worth following if you want to get all the Evil Dead game characters and demons. But his mission is one of the toughest ever, so we’re going to show you how to beat Evil Dead: The Game Mission 4, It’s Not Gonna Let Us Go! Because if you don’t play it right, it definitely won’t play.
To beat the Evil Dead game Mission 4, It’s Gonna Let Us Go!, follow these steps in order:
- Search the house for weapons and supplies
- Kill the Deadites in Ash’s trailer
- Go to El Brujo’s Hut
- Fight waves of deadites
- Get El Brujo’s Amulet and use it to get Machete
- Find Ash’s severed hand (twice)
- Find Ash at Gas Station
- Locate the Wadesboro Junkyard gas tank
- Find Shockley Auto gas tanks
- Beat the Eligos boss fight
- Return to Ash and run
Click on any of these spots for more information or scroll down for the full walkthrough in chronological order! Now we’ll admit, this task is probably a little easier than the previous one, but it wouldn’t mean much if arm wrestling a gorilla was easier than the previous task. The key element in Mission 4 is the Amulet, which was introduced about halfway through – it effectively introduces a new stealth mechanic that isn’t particularly well explained, but on which Pablo’s life depends, as certain areas become very bad if you can’t sneak through the Deadites. and demons patrolling them. We will cover these aspects in turn, starting by preparing yourself for the first trials.
1. Before you leave, search the house for weapons and supplies
When you start the game will instantly tell you to get in the car, but don’t do it. Instead, head to the house next to it and collect all the resources around, including two sets of matches, one can of Coke, and Amulets. There are also a few common ranged weapon options (no melee options yet). We recommend the pistol in the upstairs kitchen – it’s pretty deadly and provides a good balance in all other respects, but players will have their own preferences and there is no empirically wrong answer.
2. Search for Ash at Camp Green Bird and kill the Deadites
Now take the car up the road to the marker and park at a safe distance before approaching. You will be surrounded by Deadites around twelve. Get as many kills as you can from range, make sure to avoid death blasts, and try to use distance and local geometry to stay in control of the battlefield. The fights aren’t too difficult as you progress, but you don’t want to be softened up for the challenges ahead. When done, gather nearby ammo and continue after the short cutscene explaining that Ash isn’t here.
3. Carefully Go to El Brujo’s Cabin
You want to go to El Brujo’s Hut later, but be careful! It’s nearly impossible to complete this entire mission before the car is eventually destroyed (it can take almost a single hit before it breaks down), but ideally you want to protect it for as long as possible to minimize danger and fear while traveling. . If you hit a Deadite on the way, you’ll be smashed, so avoid all enemies and obstacles if possible.
4. Kill waves of Deadites at El Brujo’s Hut
Technically, there’s a mandatory wave of five Deadites to kill once you reach the Hut, but the truth is that the area around it is so choked with undead that you’ll likely need to kill many more before that. It’s important to keep your flashlight on during these fights – darkness and weather can make it easier for you to lose track of enemies and battlefield awareness is essential.
The fewer the number of enemies, the more free you will feel to use melee attacks that stun them and leave them vulnerable to takedown. As you gather, you must detonate firearms for quick kills. They’ll eventually drop an ordinary line of meat, but don’t worry too much about that – you’re about to get a far superior weapon.
5. Obtain El Brujo’s Amulet and use his secret powers to retrieve the Machete
After killing the Deadites, retrieve the Amulet of El Brujo from inside the hut. This basically gives you a permanent, albeit limited, hidden power, which we’ll explain further from the game:
- For the remainder of the mission, Pablo will go unnoticed by the Deadites unless they come very close and stand in line of sight (i.e. at any point roughly ten meters in front of them).
- This power becomes unreliable if Pablo runs, turns on his torch, makes any attacks (whether or not he hits), makes noise, or generally does anything other than standard movement.
- If a Deadite sees Pablo, all the Deadites in the local area immediately know his location and come to kill him.
- As far as we know, there are no stealth kills or methods to finish off Deadites without warning.
Technically, it’s possible to complete the mission without actually using this power, but Deadites are all over the map and you risk wearing them out eventually. To practice using it, head to the Railroad Loop that creates game markers and sneak around a few Deadites there. Grab the Rare Machete downstairs – it’s the best melee weapon for the mission.
6. Find Ash’s severed hand at the Rail Loop and Dead End
Now you must retrieve Ash’s severed hand from another building in the Railroad Loop. Use your new stealth powers (audio cues will help indicate if they’re close) to avoid the Deadites as much as possible in the wilderness, and grab the inside hand with another Shemp’s Cola. Then the hand escapes in a cutscene and you have to retrieve it again from a marked House in the Dead End.
Be careful! Whichever way you approach it, a Demi-Eligos will see your stealth and start a small boss fight in Dead End. We’ve rounded up some helpful tips for dealing with them in Mission 3, our Evil Dead game, so check out if you need a primer. There’s also a proximity trap at the main door that spawns a small Deadite, so watch out for that.
But inside the house you can find a wide variety of common weapons, Amulets, Shemp’s Cola and ammo. Stock up on all of that and we recommend replacing your pistol with a shotgun – it has power, has a decently sized clip, and most of the fights happen at close range anyway. However, a longer-range weapon won’t hurt for a boss fight later – that’s what you think you’ll need. Either way, when you’re ready, hold the hand, heal, and shield, then follow the marker.
7. Find Ash in Jake’s Gas n’ Go
Once done, take a fairly long hike/drive to Jake’s Gas n’ Go (keep sneaking around the Deadites). A Deadite stands at each door except the east door. Use it and find Ash inside, injured and with another Amulet by his side. Now the task is to get enough gas for an escape.
8. Find the gas tank in Wadesboro Junkyard
This is probably the hardest part of the quest, as Wadesboro is full of Junkyard Deadites and one mistake means fighting them all. Turn off your torch, don’t run fast, and do the following as described:
- Enter through the south entrance and follow the fence on the right.
- To the right of the illuminated bathroom is a small ramp leaning against an industrial pipe. Go upstairs and immediately to the left of the building, towards the wall flaked with DAEZO CORP (or something like that).
- Now be careful – look West and you’ll see a gap between shipping containers with Deadite in them. You don’t want to take this gap, but the smaller one just north of it.
- Go inside, then turn right and continue straight. The gas can is in front of you with Shemp’s Cola.
- Either retrace your steps to escape, take the simpler, less reliable route by rewinding the West wall to the South entrance where you came from, or if the starter car is that far you can always try and take a break for it and get away with the Deadites behind you. .
9. Find the two gas tanks in Shockley Auto
There are two gas tanks in separate places here – one upstairs in a secure building full of ammo. Make sure you have them all and take a moment to heal and raise the Amulet if you need to. The next gas tank is in an open courtyard that seems safe until you pick it up – and an Eligos appears.
10. Kill Eligos in the final boss fight
This is the last big challenge. Eligos is outlined in more detail in Mission 3 linked above, but if you want another primer, this demon is a teleporter that fires ranged attacks after each teleport and sometimes appears close to you to fire a massive melee attack. The latter is real danger, but that’s probably the only time you can throw him into melee. Use your ranged weapon for a few headshots after each ranged attack it makes, and avoid melee strikes before counterattacking with heavy attacks.
11. Return to Ash and run away from the demons
Now that you are victorious, why not try our Evil Dead game tips for the main multiplayer game mode?
Now you have the gas, go back to Jake’s Gas n’ Go in the wild and find Ash. He will have dragged himself into his car – get in and you can go to the marked exit yourself.
This is where things get a little confusing – the game claims you’re being followed by the legendary Evil Dead “designer” demon glued to your camera face, making it look like a chase, but we haven’t seen any signs of it. anything that follows. We’re not saying it’s definitely not there, just that this phase of the mission is a little… vague? There are also dozens of demons to take on the road – you can run at least a few of them along the way, but be careful – we never broke our car while doing this, but it may be safer not to push your luck. This is how close we got to the mission. Either way, go to the marked area below Misty Groves and the quest will finally be over.
Players who complete Mission 4 will receive the following (well earned) rewards. It’s also worth noting that while Pablo has some hidden powers, he doesn’t have the El Brujo Amulet invisibility anywhere outside of this mission.
- Pablo Simon Bolivar (Support Survivor)
- Information Record 4
- New unlocked quest 5: “Homecoming King”
