Cyberpunk 2077 Dream On walkthrough
When you get a call from Jefferson, go to the apartment and listen to what the Peralezes have to say. Elizabeth will then offer to show you around the apartment where the quest has properly started.
To understand what the game is, you need to scan everything possible and search the entire apartment. It’s fun to figure this out on your own, but if you get stuck, there are a few important things to scan for and advance the task:
- Upstairs, scan the huge gray screen in front of the long sofa and desk. Made of smart glass; If your Tech Talent is 10 or higher, you can fix this; At this point you will pass out shortly before waking up.
- There are two wooden doors to the left of the smart glass screen. If you have seven or more Body attributes, you can force the right one to open.
- This can also be unlocked via the computer in the downstairs security room. Use the other computer’s access code in the messages (it’s 6709 if you didn’t find it), then go to the LAN tab to unlock the door.
- This will reveal the secret security room. Interact with the computer on the desk to read messages between the Field Agents spying on the Peralez, then turn around and scan the massive computer in the room.
- After that, climb the ladder to the roof and follow the wires to the transceiver. Scan the huge remote receiver, then talk to Elizabeth.
After you finish inspecting the apartment, leave the building, hop in your vehicle and follow the surveillance van. Follow through the streets of Night City until you finally reach your destination. Kill all the enemies in the area – there are many of them – then enter the access point of the van.
You’ll learn all about what the security firm does because they have full biological profiles on both Jefferson and Elizabeth, and they’re feeding their heads. Then call Elizabeth and tell her the truth, then go to the ramen shop to meet her.
Elizabeth will admit to you that she had a hunch that something was wrong with their apartment, thanks to the behavioral changes she saw in Jefferson. An unknown person called him and told Jefferson not to say anything because “their perfect life could be turned upside down at any moment”.
He says he’ll tell Jefferson that SSI (the security firm) is spying on his mayoral rival, Holt. This is where you come from; Would you tell Jefferson the truth or would you stick to Elizabeth’s lie?
Go and meet Jefferson at Reconciliation Park, but before you reach him, you will receive a call from the same unknown person. When you sit on the bench with her, you can either tell her that she has nothing to do with Holt and that she’s been brainwashed, or that you have nothing to add to Elizabeth’s version of events.
Which decision is correct? Fortunately, there is no right answer. Your adventure with the Peralezes ends here, because it’s purely a decision based on what you think is the right thing to do. Would your V tell Jefferson the truth or is it safer to believe Elizabeth’s lie? Either way, you will be prevented from communicating with the couple again in the future so everything will wrap up nicely.
