As expected for one of Unreal Engine 5’s first major rollouts, the hardware requirements are quite high, but that’s not the case overall. Regardless of your target resolution or graphics configuration, all PC gamers will need a fairly modern machine. 16 GB RAM, 70 GB free SSD storage and GPU with at least 8 GB VRAM. From here, CPU and graphics card requirements increase significantly.
One for “Low 1080p” minimum configuration Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor combined with Nvidia GTX 1070, AMD RX 5700 or Intel Arc A580 GPU. It’s not too extreme, but it’s far from entry-level hardware.
Interestingly, Ninja Theory did not specify a refresh rate for any of these presets on PC. This can probably be explained by the fact that Hellblade II, which is quite graphically resource intensive, is blocked at 30 frames per second on Xbox Series X and S consoles in order to preserve visual fidelity and “cinematic” presentation.
However, the developer has confirmed that the PC versions will support upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.0 and Intel XES to increase performance and refresh rates without drastically reducing image quality.
