“Transformers” fans would probably love the opportunity to replay some older gamers, Xbox 360 and PS3.
A Hasbroa toy manufacturing company that is responsible for the robot franchise, really wanted to please its followers, but Activision simply lost all the gamers. Can you believe it?
“Transformers: War of Cybertron” was released in 2010. The third-person shooter was very well received by the public, so much so that it gained a sequel in 2012, “Fall of Cybertron”.
For critics, the games became popular because they brought fans closer to each character’s story, as they themselves told it in the game.
The game also featured an iconic fight between Megatron and Optimus Prime. But in 2018, all games in the franchise that were published by Activision were removed from digital stores. And then it became difficult to acquire and play.
But now Hasbro wants to change that. All that’s left is for Activision to find the games…
Hasbro was the one who broke the news

The news that the games had disappeared was given by Hasbro itself. At the time, the company was talking about its line of toys and explaining the fact that some of them were inspired by designers from the “Activision Cybertron” games.
The company was then asked about the possibility of re-releasing its most popular games. And the answer was sincere:
“Unfortunately, apparently Activision isn’t sure what hard drives they’re using in their building. When a company eats a company that eats a company, things get lost, and that’s very frustrating.”
Despite the mishap, there is still hope of finding the games. A merger between Xbox and Activision is about to take place, and so Hasbro hopes that all the archives will be searched until the old games are found and brought back.
Speech generated repercussions
After the Hasbro team’s statement, it was Activision’s turn to defend itself. The company’s CCO and EVP of corporate affairs tweeted that the publisher had always had the “code” for the Transformers games in hand, meaning the information was not lost.
While this may seem to clear things up, there are still a lot of questions. Activision has said it has the game codes, but has not said whether they are in hand.
Another question that arose among fans was: why did the company only talk about the code after Hasbro disclosed the problem? For many, it’s simple: if the code exists and the company is interested in Hasbro to resume them to launch the games again, so send the information so that everyone can play, right?!
