Halo Infinite welcomes Clippy, Microsoft Office’s cult assistant

If you have been a Windows user for many years, you should be familiar with Clippy. Microsoft Office’s virtual assistant was introduced in Office 97 and remained in use until 2003. It has helped users shape Word, Excel and more. especially by providing placement suggestions and various tips.

In recent months, Microsoft has decided to commend Clippy by giving it the opportunity to make a few cameos. This is especially true in Office 365, where the Paper Clip emoji has replaced it. This symbol of Windows has made a stealthy return to Microsoft Teams in the form of numerous stickers for use in the video conferencing application.

Cult Office assistant Clippy arrives in Halo Infinite

However, as we learned from our colleagues on the Windows Central site, Clippy makes an unexpected entry into the world of video games, and more precisely in Halo Infinite, the final chapter of the cult saga developed by 343 Industries. If you play the title, you might know it Season 2 It just landed, including a new season pass and many cosmetic rewards like emblems, armor pieces or weapon skins.

and rightly, Clippy will be available as an emblem (a sticker to put on your gun) and as an attraction, those little trinkets you can hang next to your favorite gun. It’s currently unclear when these two accessories will be released, as the Clippy emblem and talisman are labeled “Coming in Season 2”.

As a reminder, the Halo Infinite community has been offering a mode to play in 3rd person since the beginning of April. Everything works perfectly both in terms of graphics and gameplay. Believing that the game can be a TPS (Third Person Shooter) rather than a very good FPS.
