O Twitter was once one of the most popular social networks of all time. Created by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, Evan Williams and Noah Glass, it was influential all over the world.
The popularity of the app began after the service allowed users to publish short messages of up to 280 characters, which ended up being known as tweets.
Today, as in the past, Twitter continues to be a platform that allows people to stay connected in real time.
In this space, information is shared instantly and can also be programmed, which makes it a powerful tool for disseminating news, debates, expressing opinions and sharing content in general.
In 2022, the renowned social network Twitter was acquired by none other than Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of Tesla and SpaceX, a company dedicated to space exploration.
This acquisition was completed for a staggering $44 billion, although the process itself was not without its challenges. Unfortunately, after the acquisition, a restructuring took place that led to the dismissal of several employees.
Among many other events that have occurred, we can highlight the recent change of the Twitter logo made by Musk, which for many years was represented by a little blue bird. Now, it has been replaced by an X.

The unexpected change generated several doubts and divergent opinions. While some supported and liked the change, others saw it as a possible sign of the end of platform. This division of opinion was remarkable.
Surprisingly, some fans of Microsoft’s Xbox console have noticed that the current Twitter logo bears some resemblance to the Xbox logo. This observation has sparked further discussion and speculation about the intentions behind the change.
Twitter’s new logo looks like Xbox’s
The first person to notice the similarity was Tom Warren, who works for the The Verge. He shared on social media an image comparing both logos. In the caption, he mentions the following: “Logo of Xbox Series X vs Twitter’s new X logo. Who did it better?
Other members of the Xbox team have spoken out about the comment, including Eden Marie, who said the following: “Maybe the next step is to launch a device that maximizes the potential of this site, a sort of X box if you will.”
What does the new logo mean?
According to a tweet by Linda Yaccarino, the new symbol is about the future of unlimited interactivity, as well as a focus on audio, video, messaging, payments and services, creating a global marketplace for ideas and opportunities.
The hope is that through artificial intelligencethe “X” helps people stay connected.
