Game Boy earrings hit the market and bring innovations!

You already know the Game Boy, right? Launched by Nintendo In 1989, the video game marked a revolution in the electronic games industry and became a lasting icon in gaming culture, being desired by all young people at the time.

Designed by Gunpei Yokoi, the Game Boy was a portable console powered by four AA batteries.

It offered a unique gaming experience and was a travel companion for enthusiasts, providing fun anywhere.

The Game Boy’s compact, rugged design, along with its monochrome green screen, may seem modest compared to modern consoles, but at the time, it was a significant advancement.

The addictive puzzle game quickly became synonymous with the Game Boy.

In addition to ‘Tetris’, the Game Boy featured an impressive library of titles that spanned a variety of genres.

‘Super Mario Land’ brought the plumber’s adventures to the palm of your hand, while ‘The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening’ delivered an epic RPG experience in a format portable.

Even decades after its release, the Game Boy continues to be remembered as an icon of the golden age of electronic games, and its classic games remain beloved by players of all ages.

So popular that recently an accessories brand decided to “revive” the Game Boy, but in a slightly different way. O video game now it has become an earring!

Game Boy earrings

Game Boy earrings are small, measuring approximately 29.5 × 18 × 8.5 mm, but they allow you to play games on them.

Imagine Thumby as a thumb-sized Game Boy. It has a bright screen, buttons to play games and comes with 5 old titles.

Surprisingly, one of these games is ‘Doom’, from id Software, although it is not initially installed.

To work, Thumby uses a processor called Raspberry Pi RP2040, which runs a special version of Python.

It also has a small screen, internal storage, buttons for to play, a speaker and a battery that lasts up to 2 hours. The earrings are available for $29.95.
