The V Rising map includes multiple key locations, areas, and biomes within its scope, each offering new challenges, monsters, and blood-filled humans to dry up. If you’re just getting started, you may wonder how big the V Rising map is, where you are in it, and what lies ahead. That’s where we can help you, so read on to find out the full V Rising map and how big the world is.
The V Rising map is quite large, currently split into five separate areas at the time of writing. Each of these areas tends to increase in difficulty as the player reaches these levels, effectively unlocking the map as your own vampire’s power increases. We’ve laid out all the areas below, the recommended level requirements, and what you can expect to find there!
Farbane Woods is the starting area with basic threats and plenty of simple resources. It’s also one of the largest areas in the game, allowing for plenty of exploration, but despite its comparative toothlessness, there are a few endgame bosses dotted around for you to return to. It’s also one of the safest places to explore, as normal tree cover means you can avoid sunlight in most places.
Dunley Farmlands is probably the first area you’ll be transported to from Farbane, an area filled with humans and all the civilization traps you’d expect from it. Expect more resistance from armies and militias than simple irregular bandits, but ultimately the bigger rewards for opening up your villages and towns are generally good building and building resources.
Things get worse on the opposite side of Farmlands, as the area is filled with powerful witches and undead who can kill unprepared vampires. The prizes here tend to be magical and mysterious in nature, so those who want to lean more towards witchcraft should head here (if they dare).
West of Dunley is human civilization in full force, with Brighthaven, the largest town in the game. Valuable luxury resources and Silver, good or bad, are especially plentiful here – those who try to plunder the latter will become rich, but suffer from its presence (vampires do not like silver). There are also late game bosses where you can test your skill, where it will be difficult to escape the glare of daylight.
To the east of Farbane is a small, icy region with lots of bosses and powerful enemies, too much for high-level players. This area looks set to grow larger in the coming months and expand into the now dark Southeast of the Cursed Forest, but for those heading to the small white area bordering Farbane, strong winter enemies can expect to guard a variety of metals. and precious stones.
