“League of Legends“, the iconic online battle game from Riot Games, is about to receive an exciting addition to its roster of champions.
Briar, the new champion, has been officially revealed and we’re here to tell you everything you need to know about this figure inspired by the vampire world.
Briar Cinematics: Hungering Frenzy
To welcome Briar, the Riot Games released a stunning cinematic called “Hunger Frenzy”. In this thrilling video, Briar finally escapes her prison in Noxus and demonstrates her thirst for action.
The animation is a visual spectacle that not only introduces the new champion, but immerses players in her dark and mysterious world. Watch below.
Briar brings with her a set of unique skills that make her a formidable jungler. Below, see an overview of her skills.

Passive – Crimson Curse: Briar does not have base health regeneration. Instead, she receives increased healing based on her lost health and applies bleed with her abilities. Although casting these abilities costs life, Bleed allows her to heal her for a percentage of pre-mitigation damage.

Q – Vertigo: With this ability, Briar makes a jump that stuns the target, deals damage and reduces the enemy’s armor.

W – Blood Frenzy/Hungry Attack: Briar performs a jump towards a location, taunting the nearest enemy. She gains attack and movement speed, while her attacks deal physical damage around the main target. When using the skill again, her next attack is strengthened, dealing damage based on the health lost and healing the champion.

AND – Chilling Scream: This ability works by charging. At first, its damage is reduced while Briar regains health. When casting the skill, it emits a scream that causes damage and slows, pushing enemies back and stunning those that hit walls.

Ultimate – Certain death: The final ability launches a projectile that marks the first champion hit as prey. Briar flies towards the target, dealing significant damage all around, as well as chasing its prey until one of the two is defeated.
Briar’s First Skin – Urban demons

In addition to skills, the Riot Games also revealed Briar’s first skin. She is part of the new “Urban Demons” skin line and adds an even darker touch to the character.
Briar is scheduled to arrive in “League of Legends” in patch 13.18, which is expected to be released in about two weeks. So, get ready to dive into the vampire world and dominate the battlefield with this new champion.
