Final Fantasy 14 is already available on PlayStation, but we now know that the Square Enix game will also be coming to Xbox Series X and S soon. But there is a problem: Xbox players will need to pay at least two subscriptions to play the game.
As a matter of fact, the studio announced in a blog post that an Xbox version of the game will be required. An Xbox Game Pass Core or Ultimate subscription in addition to a monthly game subscription. For this reason, some players may be quite reluctant to take risks.
Anyway, note that there is an Xbox version. Final Fantasy 14 will enter its open beta testing phase on February 21st at 9am French time. Since the beta test is only open to new players, existing players with a license registered to their Square Enix account will not be able to participate. The full version of the game will be released after the beta test is over, but the exact date is not yet known.
