Electronic Arts has confirmed FIFA 22 cross-play, but it will only be available for PS5, Xbox Series X and S consoles, and Google’s Stadia cloud gaming platform, according to the official release. it means Players on PC, Xbox One and PS4 will not be able to play with friends on other platforms. This isn’t the first time EA has downplayed PC gamers who don’t already have access to certain features like Hypermotion.
EA hasn’t said when testing will begin or when the crossplay feature will become a permanent part of the game. Again, the editor provided more information via a short FAQ. The update that adds the feature is expected to arrive soon for next-generation consoles.

Crossplay in FIFA 22 is currently very limited
For now this feature is only enabled for seasons and online friendlies..
