FFXIV relic weapons are the most powerful weapons in Final Fantasy XIV, but spend a lot of time on a few updates to get there, making them a true labor of love to complete. The first step in the Endwalker Relic weapon series, also known as Manderville Weapons, has been released. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to get a Manderville Relic weapon of your own.
Endwalker relic weapon prerequisite quests
To begin crafting the Endwalker relic weapon, you must first complete all other Hildibrand Manderville Quests. It may be a lot of quests, but trust us when we say it’s worth it – the Manderville questline is the funniest in the game and unlocks loads of outfits, minions, and Trials along the way. Every expansion in the game has its own starting point (except Shadowbringers, which doesn’t have any Manderville quests), so here’s where to find each chapter.
- A Realm Reborn – You will want to find the quest ‘Rise And Fall Of Gentlemen’ from a character named Wymond in Ul’Dah on The Steps of Nald. To accept A Realm Reborn, you must be at level 50 and have completed the main story.
- towards heaven – You can take the quest ‘A Gentleman Falls, Before Flies Flies’ from Nashu Mhakaracca in Ishgard in the Pillars half of the map. To begin this part of the questline, you must be at level 60, have completed the previous Hildibrand quests, and have completed the main Heavensward storyline.
- Storm Blood – In Kugane you will find the quest ‘A Hingan Tale: Nashu Goes East’ from an inconspicuous man. Once again you will have to complete the other Hildibrand quests, but this time you will need to be at level 70 and complete the Stormblood main campaign quests first.
- endwalker – The latest part of the Hildibrand questline can be found in Radz-at-Han near the main ether – Look for an Excited Teenager to start the ‘Sleeping Gentleman’ quest. To get it, you must be at level 90 and have completed the main Endwalker storyline and all other Hildibrand quests. Once you complete the ‘A Perfect Gentleman’ quest, you will be able to start the first phase of the Manderville Relic Quest.
How to make a Manderville relic weapon
To start making your first relic weapon, the first thing you’ll want to do is switch it to the Job you want – once you start the quest, you’ll only be able to get the weapon for the Job you chose. . You’ll be able to repeat for other Jobs later, but the cost is quite high so be extra sure of your choice the first time.
Go to Radz-at-han Aetheryte Plaza and talk to House Manderville Manservant to get the ‘Make it a Manderville’ quest, this quest will lead you to Al-Kimiya’s High Crucible for promotion. You will be told to find 3 pieces of Manderium Meteorite. After that, you’ll want to go back to the Aetheryte plaza and talk to Jubrunnuh, which sells exactly what you’re looking for, for 500 Allagan Astronomy Headstones each, so you’ll need 1,500 headstones to get all three. Once you’ve done that, go back to the Crucible to craft your weapon.
It may only be ilvl 615 at the moment, but it will grow in future updates as you improve it. To repeat the quest and start making weapons for other jobs, talk to the House Manderville Artisan in The High Crucible of Al-Kimiya (he only has pants so you can’t miss it) and he will give you the quest to find three more Manderiums. Meteorites at the expense of another 1,500 Astronomy Tomestones. Repeat as many times as you want.
Tips for earning Tomestones of Astronomy
