The Dying Light 2 1.05 update patch notes are here as it finally lands on consoles. The update mainly focuses on fixing a number of cooperative multiplayer bugs that could cause players to disconnect, as well as crashes, ‘death loops’ (not Arkane game) and story blocks. Update 1.05 released Friday, February 11 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, be sure to download it to take advantage of its fixes. You can see them all on the Dying Light 2 twitter in this thread, but we’ve gathered them all here as well:
- Fixed various situations where players could be disconnected in co-op.
- Fixed numerous crashes.
- Fixed various story blocks.
- Added additional video settings, including motion and distance blur.
- Fixed blocks resulting in players ending in a death loop after a co-op session.
- Fixed issues with players being unable to sell their valuables to vendors.
- Fixed issues that caused a song not to be muted in music streaming mode.
- Fixed issues with AI becoming immortal in some rare cases when playing co-op.
- Fixed various issues with stealth play in co-op.
- Fixed various issues when AI could be blocked in geometry.
- Added various AI visual adjustments.
- Various balance improvements.
- Fixed rare issues where players in co-op mode could not see dialog options.
- Various performance optimizations.
- Fixed various situations that could cause an endless black screen.
- Fixed AI dead body replication in co-op.

Xbox specific fixes:
- Enabled 60+FPS VRR mode on Xbox Series X.
PlayStation-specific fixes:
- Fixed occasional screen flickering on PS5.
- Fixed endless downloads.
- Fixed custom quest music for peers in co-op sessions.
Big fixes for all platforms, Dying Light 2 cluster, crashes, story blocks and endless black screens. Hopefully, this is all fixed with the 1.05 console update. All platforms also got extra video settings related to different types of blur. While the PC version of Dying Light 2 fixed similar issues found in the console patch notes, it received a few more minor updates.
