It wasn’t long ago that “Diablo” fans were treated to the cinematic trailer for the newest game in the franchise, “Diablo IV.” In this trailer, we see a magnificent action and horror scene in which three men are sacrificed in a ruin to bring back to life the mother of demons, ‘Lilith’. Watch it in full:
An early version of the game was made available in recent weeks and allows players to enjoy the first few minutes of the gameplay.
In fact, it was through this that we discovered that the cinematic trailer was actually the scene at the beginning of the game. A kind of prelude to the story that the player will enjoy in the new game.
However, the game’s director, Joseph Piepiora, has already made something very clear to longtime fans of the franchise:
“’Diablo IV’ is not meant to be played forever.”
What does the ‘Diablo IV’ director’s quote mean? means?
Even though Joseph Piepiora made it very clear in another interview that the newest game in the “Diablo” franchise will receive constant updates, with new content and a continuation of the story, this does not mean that the franchise will be infinite.
It is common for games of this type to have updates that always bring more content, making it almost a kind of “mmorpg”. However, in the case of “Diablo”, Joseph said that both he and the creative and development team wanted “Diablo IV” to have an end.
In other words, even though it is a great game, with several things to do, dungeons to complete and builds to assemble, we can expect an end soon for the franchise. According to Joseph Piepiora:
“At level 100, we have a climactic boss encounter that we want players to experience that has been balanced, so it’s extraordinarily challenging.”
Furthermore, the director also stated that the intention of the entire creative team is to make the player have this “final challenge”, in which he will have to think very carefully about his build and playstyle so that it is possible to defeat this boss and second, Piepiora, reach apotheosis and become a deity.
