At 1 am last night, many players rushed to their PCs or consoles to launch Diablo 4. The new Blizzard game has indeed received launch rights in early access a few days before its official release on June 6. A great sharing moment for undergraduate fans… but also a huge disappointment for some unlucky ones.
Launching on PS5 was a little more difficult than on PC and Xbox Series. On social networks, many people report a strange error message when signing in. After joining the server and queuing the game, “no valid Diablo 4 license found” accompanied by the code 315306 on the console. Of course, the players in question bought the game and thus got the license in question.
Bypassing Diablo 4 License Error
Worse still, this bug seems to particularly affect players who bought the most expensive version of Diablo 4, Ultimate for 99 Euros. Suffice it to say that between the latter the news went bad. Fortunately, there is a workaround until Blizzard fixes this bug. Indeed, many users have noticed that all you have to do for the game to finally accept starting is to make a purchase on your console.
But if you have spent a hundred euros on the title before, we can understand that you are reluctant to spend more money. However, if you’re already subscribed to PlayStation Plus, another solution is possible: just download it. A free game in the catalog. Then when you restart Diablo 4 on your PS5, it will no longer show the license verification error message.
Blizzard reacted quickly, confirming that a definitive solution was in development. Hopefully it will be released before the official launch next week.
We are investigating an Invalid License issue reported by some PlayStation users. We’ll update this forum thread when we have more information.
