Brasil Game Show, one of the largest gaming events in Latin America, is about to welcome a special participant in its edition this year. For the first time, the renowned company SEGA will be present at the annual fair, bringing all its history and the iconic games that marked generations.
The brand’s stand will be 500m², ample space to serve its entire legion of fans who are passionate about its games. SEGA made a name for itself in the video game universe with “Sonic the Hedgehog”, one of the most classic games in history.

According to Marcelo Tavares, CEO and founder of Brasil Game Show, this is a personal dream come true. “SEGA’s participation has been a dream of mine since the first edition of the event, and the confirmation of its presence at this edition of Brasil Game Show is something historic,” he says.
“This is yet another demonstration that developers with unforgettable legacies want to connect more with Brazilian fans, who show a lot of passion for their products. It is an honor to make this announcement,” adds the CEO.
Ian Curran, president and COO of SEGA, says that Brazilians have a “vibrant and exciting passion for games” and that this is even more evident during the event.
“We’re incredibly excited to officially participate in the event for the first time and can’t wait to bring a fantastic lineup of games directly to our fans,” added Curran.
Brasil Game Show 2023 will be held from October 11th to 15th at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. The event promises to offer an exciting experience to visitors, with several attractions and new features.
In addition to visiting the SEGA booth, participants will be able to watch competitions eSportssuch as the “CS:GO” Women’s Championship, and learn about the latest game releases and related products.
The free-to-play stations will guarantee plenty of fun, and players will have the opportunity to meet friends, content creators and many prominent figures during the event. BGS 2023 is shaping up to be an unmissable event for those passionate about the gaming universe.
