Since its debut in the 90s, “Baldur’s Gate” known for its exciting storyline, era-defining characters and engaging gameplay based on the world of “Dungeons & Dragons”.

The latest addition to the franchise, “Baldur’s Gate 3,” developed by the talented team at Larian Studios, promises to take this tradition to new heights.

One of the most exciting elements of this highly anticipated title is the character customization capabilities, which will not only allow players to shape their heroic journey, but also provide the opportunity to reimagine and refine their protagonists in new ways.

The long awaited game “Baldur’s Gate 3,” developed by Larian Studios, is planning to introduce a new update that will allow players to modify their character’s appearance even after starting the game.

Inspired by the “Dungeons & Dragons” universe, the game already offers the option to customize the game’s characters, allowing you to choose race, class and modify details such as accessories, tattoos, hair and even genitals.

However, once a character is created, the customization options are fixed, unlike other RPGs like “Diablo IV” or “Cyberpunk 2077”, which allow for continuous adjustments.

However, recently, Larian Studios’ publishing director mentioned that his team is working on allowing characters to be modified after starting the game, fulfilling a desire expressed by players.

“Lord, please let me change my appearance in the game,” said X (formerly Twitter) user TheTrustedTitan. “I’m begging you!!!!”

“Things are being prepared,” Douse replied.

More about the game ‘Baldur’s Gate’

The first game, released in 1998, takes place in the Forgotten Realms setting and offers a RPG classic with elements of open-world exploration and real-time tactical combat.

“Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn,” the 2000 sequel, further expanded upon the world, characters, and mechanics of the first game. The series also includes notable expansions such as “Throne of Bhaal.”

In 2020, Larian Studios released “Baldur’s Gate III”, a spiritual continuation of the series, maintaining the Forgotten Realms setting and using the 5th edition rules of “Dungeons & Dragons“.
