The X platform, formerly known as Twitter, is about to launch a new gaming live streaming feature, following in the footsteps of platforms like Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. The functionality can make the platform one of the competitors in this market.
The news was announced by the company’s CEO, Elon Musk. And he did it in the best way possible: with a demonstration of this innovation in practice, in a broadcast in which he played “Diablo IV” on 1/10. The objective was to evaluate the robustness of the servers.
On that occasion, Musk shared his experience with the public and announced plans to hold another broadcast on October 2nd. This time, he planned to explore a level 100 dungeon in Nightmare mode.

For the test, the businessman used an account with the nickname cyb3rgam3r420 and broadcast for approximately an hour. The broadcast began with Musk checking that everything was working correctly before actually starting the game.
He noted that for an initial test, everything went well during the broadcast. However, one of the next steps will be to simplify the configuration, as it is currently not an easy task to carry out. In other words, Musk is really determined to become a competitor of Twitch.
One of the social media platform’s engineers, Mark Kalman, also shared a video in which he showed a tutorial on how to broadcast various media on the platform. Everything indicates that it will be possible to broadcast using programs such as Streamlabs OBS and inserting the key into the platform.
This is a way to attract the attention of content creators, especially those focused on the gaming area. This is because this audience, mainly, is one of the largest concentrations on Twitch currently. Will the new ideas of Elon Musk for X will they work?
