The Last of Us 2 tokens are a collectible item that you can find throughout the game. There are 32 in total, all tied to American states, and you’ll need to find them all to mark a trophy tied to them.
Frankly, these things are small and hidden, so it’s not easy to find them all without help. Our guide will tell you where to find The Last of Us 2 coins as you progress, and mark collectibles and levels as you play.

Virginia
You can’t miss this. Break the window of the zoo toilet to get to the outside bin and Abby will pick it up as you go to move the bin.
Alaska
When you leave your apartment with Manny after collecting your things, the apartment is on the left side, on the floor.
Maine
As you descend into the dog pen, this coin is on a table to your right on one of the lower floors.
New Jersey
After you pick up your dog, it’s in the shelter, right behind the desk where the woman greets you.
vermont
After the shooting range with Manny, take a left in the next room and it’s inside an open locker in the far corner.
Kentucky
After Seraphite ambush, after you lower the grill and lock yourself in the hardware store, this coin is on a table to the right.
Massachusetts
In the grassy bit of the hardware store, after the zombie encounter with manny pushing the door, you will find this coin in the far corner of the safe.
Ohio
When you’re trapped with Mel, instead of using the ladder to get through the hanging boat, place it in the building with the blue door behind you, the coin is on a table above with some pills.
Indiana
When you come out of the hatch with Mel, she’s in a trailer in the middle of the area. Break the window to get in and get it.
California
When you get rescued by the WLF and get out of the car, there will be a group of people talking to your right, behind them is a coin on the ground on the concrete.
New Mexico
Just after checking in from California, turn left and it’s over a green cash register next to people talking.
South Carolina
After entering the apartments to meet Isaac, turn left and at the end of the table is where people sit and eat.
North Dakota
Abby notes the smell and you drive through a clothing store, you can climb into a truck right in front of you to get into the window – the coin is in a drawer in the room you came from.
Alabama
On your way to the aquarium after fighting the clickers, you climb a highway – when you get there, go to the opposite of the aquarium and find this coin on a corpse.
West Virginia
On the boat as Abby, after taking the crossbow and killing the clickers, you will go through a corridor and the corridor will be on your right in a pile full of teddy bears and suitcases.
Utah
At the end of the boat section, when you come out of the cockpit in the captain’s section, turn around instead of going the way you need to go to find this money.
Mississippi -Easy to find, once you reach the aquarium, jump into the water fountain and you can get it from the fountain’s bed.
Nevada
Going in with Lev, look at the tall buildings and there will be a barber shop on your right – behind the coin counter.
Colorado
Jump across the stream with Lev from the Interbay store, then there’s this coin on the blue ledge in the far corner of the room. Upstairs in the shop with a mural of a dancing cat inside.
Illinois
This coin is in the pool where you fell, after falling from the crane, dive to the bottom to get it.
oregon
After you get the flamethrower as you come down from the infested building, this building is downstairs across a beam, on a small table in room 1107.
Wisconsin
When you go down the elevator shaft after killing the clickers with Lev, break the vending machine on your left to get it.
Rhodes Island
To find this coin after exiting the elevator shaft, look behind the bar in the open area as you take off your gas masks.
Missouri
As soon as the wolves let you into the hospital area, go right – this is through the window at the end of the corridor.
Washington
Behind the coffee counter as Nora takes you to the post-capture intensive care unit.
Hawaii
As soon as you get away from the fearsome beast, Abby will pull a grate to move forward. To your left is a small white-framed security spot around the window. Break it to get this coin.
Kansas
As soon as Lev takes control after the boat is away, jump up one level and in the grass.
Louisiana
After taking the elevator down to the ground floor, continue before going up the blue rail and on the right under a tarp.
Idaho
You’ll use a ladder to climb a highway on the island with Yara, and there’s a truck on your left that you can jump into to find that money in the cargo bed.
north carolina – After Ada is on high alert and Yara suggests that you break through the logging camp, on your left is a car with an open door and a book with a coin on the floor.
Montana
This is the sniper’s lair in the first Seraphite camp. Once you’ve cleared it, get there, climb to the top of the barn, and finally in a bale.
Arkansas
Abby said, “Is there a way to get around these guys?” And you walk out of a convenience store with Yara and Lev, the last coin to your left, next to a lonely shopping cart.
