A Forza Horizon 5 reasonably priced car needs to be rated in a Class C, and you may need a car for a weekly challenge or championship. Entering a championship and getting to the top of the podium can earn you a flashy supercar worth hundreds of thousands or even millions of Credits, but your choice of affordable car will be only a fraction of that. While this type of car isn’t the best in Forza Horizon 5, it’s good to have in your garage if it means you can earn even better cars using it. Here’s what you need to know about what qualifies as a reasonably priced car in Forza Horizon 5.
What is Forza Horizon 5 affordable car?
If you want to complete a Forza Horizon 5 seasonal championship or challenge that requires an ‘affordable’ car, you’ll need a Class C vehicle – that’s a 501 to 600 rating – and 25,000 CR or less. We also recommend modifying it to get it to a maximum Class C rating of 600, which won’t add much to the car’s initial cost.

You won’t be able to compete in a championship if you don’t drive a proper car, but fortunately such cars are very cheap, so they shouldn’t set you back too much. In Forza Horizon 5 seasonal championships, you compete in multiple races and earn points based on your position in each one. Getting the most points at the end will win you the championship and get you free rewards. Incredibly fast cars can be among these prizes, so be sure to check back every week to see if you can get the best car giveaway in Forza Horizon 5!
However, these are limited-time events that last only for the in-game season, which is one week in real time, so make sure you don’t miss it. You can check all current seasonal championships and restrictions for the current season on the Festival Playlist page. There will also be plenty of challenges to complete – some of which might include Forza Horizon 5 solar panels – and perhaps a treasure hunt to do.
When you start a championship and choose your car for the first race, you are given the option to choose a car you own, so this is a good opportunity to see if you have something available. If not, you can buy a recommended car, but you should still upgrade if possible.
