Accessibility: PS5 controller for people with disabilities will be launched by Sony later this year

Aiming at democratic access for its audience, Sony announced the launch of the Access Controller for PlayStation 5, designed to facilitate access for people with disabilities. The controller will be available worldwide from December 6, with pre-orders starting on July 21.

The Access Controller allows you to customize the layout with different button and analog stick covers, offering a variety of shape and design options. It also allows you to operate the controller in any orientation, 360°, and connect third-party accessibility accessories through its four expansion ports.

The PS5 console allows you to configure a variety of options, adjustable to suit individual player needs.

It is possible to map buttons, create controller profiles, adjust settings, and disable buttons to prevent accidental presses. Additionally, users can pair two Access controllers with a DualSense wireless controller and play together.
