Your team composition is crucial to succeeding in missions and ultimately being victorious. When assembling your team of three, it’s important to have at least one character that can generate Heroism and another that can wield it. Heroism is an essential resource as it allows your heroes to use some of the most powerful Hero and Combo cards that can deal massive damage and truly turn the tide of battle.

Doctor Strange and Nico Minoru are good at creating Heroes, while Captain Marvel and Ghost Rider are excellent at using it to fuel their strongest attacks. However, you’ll also want to have some status effects in the mix, so make sure all your characters have a good mix of cards, which includes things like Knockback, Taunt, Mark, Bleed, and more to make life harder for your enemies. easier for your heroes – Hunter, Knife, Iron Man and Spider-Man are great at applying various status effects.

2. Use environmental attacks whenever possible

Combat encounters will be filled with all sorts of objects, from throwing a can at the enemy’s head to blowing up an exploding barrel, that can be used to launch environmental attacks or turn your enemies’ state around. These attacks cost Heroes instead of Lottery Cards, so as long as you have Hero points, you can use them even after you’ve played all your Lottery Cards; definitely use them to carry out an environmental attack.

Many Hero Attack cards also have a Knockback status effect, which you can use to hurl enemies at various objects and even other enemies for extra damage. Some of these add status effects – for example, hitting an enemy with a fuse box will stun them and prevent them from moving when it’s their turn. Making as many turns as possible and seizing every opportunity is key to gaining and retaining the upper hand in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, so make sure you don’t forget to use the environment to your advantage!

Redraws are great for getting rid of unwanted cards, but you should also use them on some of your best cards. While it can be tempting to hold onto particularly strong cards and wait for the perfect opportunity to use them, it may often be better to take the risk and use one of your two Redraws to get something else that you can use or have ready right away. next go Doing something is always better than doing nothing in Midnight Suns and you are entitled to two Redraws per turn, so you can use them too. Be ruthless with the cards in your hand and replace your favorite cards if they cannot be used effectively or at all in your current turn or the next turn.

4. Check activities regularly

Generally, when playing Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you will start the day with everyone awake and active. Take this opportunity to check the map and SuperLink to see who wants to talk to you and if you have any new messages. You must then go to the Yard and start a sparring session to train a hero. After that go to Forge and check out any research projects you might have started. If one is complete, launch another to maintain a steady stream of upgrades. Also be sure to analyze Gamma Coils for new cards, work on Artifacts for resources, or decrypt Intel Caches to send heroes ahead of you in Hero Ops. start any task.

You can’t use the Stove, Garden, CENTER or Mirror Table as everyone is relaxed and ready to sleep, so it’s time to socialize with your team and start any Hangouts. Then you can sleep and start a brand new day all over again. Just make sure you don’t neglect aspects of the day or night, as hanging out with your team can be just as important as lining up upgrades.

You can freely explore the Abbey and its surroundings both during the day and at night. There are all kinds of things you can find, such as supplies you might need later or collectibles that will earn you rewards when you complete the set. You can also find quest items or gifts to give to heroes when you hangout to earn more Friendship XP.

As you explore, you’ll also see glowing orbs of different colors on the floor. Be sure to collect these, they give you small amounts of Attack, Skill or Heroic Essences and even Credits. Hangouts may seem like an excuse to interact with other heroes, but they are essential as they are the main way to increase your Friendship Level with individual heroes. Get the Wargames upgrade for Forge first

Once you’ve played enough Marvel’s Midnight Suns to gain access to Forge and Research, be sure to launch the War Games project as soon as possible to get the Foundry upgrade that greatly improves Gamma Coil analytics. Once the project is completed the next in-game day, you’ll be able to purchase the Foundry upgrade – it costs 50 Credits to instantly install, so keep your Credits as well. Foundry causes Gamma Coils to now grant a choice of four cards (more than three), allowing you to hold two cards instead of one. This really helps you unlock and upgrade cards for your heroes early on, allowing you to upgrade your card decks for battle.

8. Make time for common tasks

After playing for a few hours you will unlock general missions in Mirror Table. These are combat encounters away from the main story that task you to complete a specific objective. They are especially useful for obtaining resources needed to improve cards, install new upgrades for the Abbey, and buy cosmetic items for heroes. General missions are also not managed by the Hunter, so you can recruit any three heroes on your team to try new abilities and level up.

If your Credit is running low and you are desperately looking to fund some sparring sessions or upgrades for Forge and Yard, then some common missions will give Credits. We also completed a quest with the purpose of opening safes, and by doing so we earned various amounts of Essences needed to upgrade cards. Still, if you’re on the hunt for new cards and upgrades for your heroes, seek out common quests that reward Gamma Coils and Intel Caches.
