Portuguese great Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the news for the entire transfer window and has wanted to leave Manchester United. Manchester United played to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, the elite competition. He also missed most of the pre-season games and played for 45 minutes last weekend in a 1-1 draw with Spanish team Rayo Vallecano.
Although Ronaldo has not made a public statement on the matter, his manager has offered him to several clubs in Europe for his client to play Champions League football once again. On that note, former Man United assistant coach Chris Armas spoke out on the matter, urging new coach Erik Ten Hag to keep Ronaldo on the team for next season.

Armas’ message to Erik Ten Hag about Cristiano Ronaldo?
Chris Armas joined Man United as assistant coach alongside Ralf Rangnick, who replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last November. Armas lauded that the Portuguese superstar will be crucial to the team’s rise to the top four next season and that Ten Hag should focus on keeping him at the club. Just three days before Manchester United kick off their season against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, Ronaldo’s future at the club still looks uncertain.
As Cristiano Armas told Sky Sports, “Every man has a different type of leadership, He can certainly be a leader in his own way. My goal, like everyone else on the roster, is ‘How can I get the most out of Cristiano?’ was.”
He also added “So, I think it’s a hands-on approach. Talking to him, bringing him into the office, asking him questions, so it’s part of the solution, part of the success.”
