Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has filed a lawsuit in court, demanding R$45,000 in non-pecuniary damages against social media phenomenon Karoline Lima, as well as Google and Facebook. The football player also tried to prevent his ex-girlfriend from criticizing him on the internet. The actor claims that the influencer persuaded his followers to spread the persecution and damage his reputation on the network.
The Brazilian national team also called Eder Militao, who broke up with Karol on July 6 when she was 38 weeks pregnant. Militao came under fire for allegedly dumping his ex and daughter Cecilia.
The defender filed an urgent custody petition for an injunction, demanding that his ex-girlfriend refrain from making derogatory remarks about him on social media. Judge Eliana Adorno de Toledo Tavares repeatedly denied the request in the player’s defense because it did not include any submissions from Karoline during the trial.

Eder Militao and Karoline Lima ended their relationship a few days before their baby was born.
Newton Ferreira, the attorney representing the defense in the case, to which the sources had access, commented:
“Militão is subject to harassment and constant aggression towards his personality on social networks, especially through the Instagram app. Such harassment occurs constantly and unexpectedly, through Karol, who uses her personal account, her profile and comments directly on the person of Militão on the social network in question, exposing posts, videos, stories for the purpose of exposing posts, videos, stories.
