“I feel for Conte..” – Sky Sports Pundit after Tottenham’s horrific defeat to Middlesbrough

Sky Sports expert Jamie O’Hara smashed his old side after Antonio Conte’s disastrous defeat to Middlesbrough that sent his team out of the FA Cup. The 19-year-old substitute took Chris Wilder’s side to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, extending Tottenham’s trophy-free streak to 14 seasons.

Speaking about Tottenham’s defeat, the former Tottenham midfielder said he ‘feels for Conte’ and that the Spurs players are not ‘good enough’.

talking sky sports “I have feelings for Conte, a lot of Spurs fans are starting to turn around saying he should be a bit to blame but I don’t think he has it yet.

Because he’s dealing with these players, their mentality and attitude. [It’s] Not good enough for the Spurs players.”

When asked about his thoughts on the Tottenham players who played well last night, Jamie chose only one player: Matt Doherty. The 30-year-old Irishman appreciated the defender and said that the player has regained his confidence.

said, “I actually thought Matt Doherty played well. I actually think it’s gotten better lately.

“I think he just turned the corner, maybe a little bit of self-confidence.

“But other than that, absolutely not. Everyone else was out of speed.

This is Middlesbrough, a championship side. We had to get in there, dictate the pace of the game, dictate how you wanted to play it, and be just miles away from it.”

Jamie O’Hara has commented further on Tottenham’s ‘shocking’ hiring over the years and the money club has spent loads of money without any proper planning.

said, “Yes, definitely [club spending money on players]The recruitment was shocking.

Look at the players who came to the football club where we paid a lot of £60m to Ndombele, [for] We paid around £50m to Romero, £40m to Davidson Sanchez, £30m to Sessegnon and £15m to Doherty.

You can’t say we didn’t spend money. Of course we spent money.

But where you spend the money is where the problem lies. The hiring was absolutely shocking.

And the players come back and they all get emotional after one season, two seasons, and then a new manager comes along and they get stuck with the same players.”

Currently in seventh place in the Premier League table, Tottenham are still fighting for a place in the top 4. They currently have 42 points in two games that include Everton and Manchester United. Tottenham will have to come out of these games with positive scores, otherwise their top 4 dreams will definitely come to an end.
