VALORANT players can use Brimstone’s Stim Beacon to speed up Yoru’s Gatecrash ability, making it reach its target even faster.
The much-needed Yoru overhaul was delivered in Patch 4.04, allowing the struggling Duelist to become a viable option. Yoru received a new life-size bait, and the speed of his Gatecrash ability has been increased, allowing players to teleport behind opponents faster. Players can speed up the Gatecrash ability using Brimstone’s Stim Beacon.

Valorant’s latest fixes are great for agent abilities
While displaying the standard speed of the Gatecrash ability, a VALORANT The player posted to Reddit a short video they posted without using the Stim Beacon. Stim Beacon boosted the skill in the second clip, giving it a noticeable speed boost. It was clear that Brimstone’s help gave an extra boost when the clips were played side-by-side.
With the addition of the Rapid Fire enhancement in patch 4.04, Brimstone’s Stim Beacon becomes a stronger and more applicable ability. Their fumes have also been adjusted to increase their effectiveness, and after months of struggling in the meta, the Controller is now getting some playtime.
Other players have noted that Stim Beacon speeds up other abilities like Sova’s drone, Raze’s boom bot, and Skye’s dog, so try it out in your next match. While the extra speed is unlikely to make a big difference, it can be useful in some situations.
