In a Valorant blog post, Riot Games character producer John Goscicki said that the concept of another agent “revolving around the information gathering element” like Sova has been “on the table” for some time.
According to the team, the team worked on this concept and “landed in an area with more ‘native’ launch and exploration tools”. According to Goscicki, the new manager will have a “more intimate feel when hunting down opponents” and will give fans a first look at the new manager. The Turkish word that ends the blog post is translated as “everyone has a fear”, “everybody has a fear”.

A new Valorant agent is on the way.
The teaser image in the post also shows a table that most likely belongs to the new character. Fans can see an open laptop and cork board in the background, as well as a hot cup of coffee or tea in the middle of the table. There’s a picture of Sova on the computer and Cypher is in the middle of the bulletin board on the wall.
It’s unclear how or why the new character blackmails other agents, but it will almost certainly have something to do with his abilities.
According to previous leaks, the codename BountyHunter was added. VALORANT game files as well as hints of a new Totem ability. The new agent will likely have one-of-a-kind tools to track specific personalities and collect data for their cases.
Riot hasn’t said when the new character will be released, but fans will definitely find out soon.
